Summary: Book Description
Review: After she was released from a concentration camp where she was held for hiding persecuted Jews, Corrie ten Boom became what she called a "tramp for the Lord"--she traveled around the world at the direction of God.

"Tramp for the Lord" has sold over half a million copies, making it the second best-selling ten Boom book behind "The Hiding Place". Now brought back into print as the fourth book in the Corrie ten Boom Library, "Tramp for the Lord" is a touching collection of thirty-five short vignettes. In this book, Corrie takes readers to the nearest and farthest corners of the earth, sharing what she learned in the course of her travels and ministry.

This sequel to "The Hiding Place" allows readers to apply Corrie's wisdom of eternal truths to their everyday lives. "The school of life offers some difficult courses," writes Corrie, "but it is in the difficult class that one learns the most--especially when your teacher is the Lord Jesus Himself."

Corrie ten Boom spent her life sharing with others the reality of Jesus Christ. She is the author of many books, including "The Hiding Place", "He Cares for You", "Not I, but Christ", and "The End Battle".

Summary: Our God is a God of miracles
Review: Corrie Ten Boom shares her life after her time spent in the Nazi concentration camp. This book will strenghten your faith in knowing we have a God who cares about our needs. Corrie is real with her life and struggles and all that God teaches her through them. This book has changed my perspective about Jesus and what my purpose is in this life.

Summary: So inspiring could be used as a devotional
Review: I read this book with a box of Kleenex!

I think a better way to have read it is daily, like a devotional. The chapters are short, 6 pages tops, and they take one scripture as the theme. Corrie would go into how that scripture was driven home to her, through certain circumstances.

The only suggestion I would give is to first read The Hiding Place, you will have a better understand of what this woman went through, and how she was used by God. This book goes into life after the concentration camps, so it is good to have a knowledge of what her life was like before.

Summary: ehh
Review: I was expecting this book to be more like "The Hiding place" (A very very very good book). I had to stop with two or three chapters left because I couldn't take it any more.

Summary: This was a book full of inspiring stories!
Review: I was touched repeatedly by her stories of courage, love, and forgiveness. I sensed an underlying message that happiness comes from walking in obedience to the Lord, whenever and however He requests it from us. Very moving and difficult to put down!

Summary: Motivational
Review: If you liked, "The diary of Anne Frank", here is the next best thing. A book that at times is chilling and exciting it will blow you away. Ms. Ten Boom is a very committed Christian who helped many Jews escape the wrath of Hitler. A must read!

Summary: Read and reread to fully absorb this great book.
Review: This book is probably one of the most influencial Christian books that I have read besides the Bible- and I read a lot. I was struck by her simplicity in response to many questions in life. I was also challenged to live a life where I am walking in God's spirit. I would whole-heartedly recommend this book- but you should really read and re-read the text to let it sink in.
