Summary: wiesel's brilliant 4-dimensional masterpiece
Review: a powerful trip across the mind of a holocost surviver wandering the haunted and enchanted streets of the old city in search of a lost friend. rich with emotion and stunning prose, this narration tells the story of the beggars and madmen who gather at dusk in the shadow of history, allowing the narrator to question his very memories. this is a text which lies on your table demanding to be read again and again, revealing bits of its mystery.

Summary: ironic
Review: it is very ironic, the way jerusalem is claimed the land of these ... no it is not them who are beign humiliated murdered and oppressed ... it is the palestinians, the christians of them and the muslims , who woke up suddenly and found that their land was taken over by people who have no heart ,... like an infectious virus
it is not them who need the sympathy it is those palestinian fathers mothers sons daughters and siblings who are living a holocaust right now! women are raped, men are tortured , abbaies are killed
why allow another holocaust to take place??? we have to stop it now]
give people what they deserve ... give them back their land
