Review: Forget doom and gloom and the scary state of the world... this is escapist reading pure and simple... and I for one could read it over and over. Melanie is divorced (with a great feeling of relief), her ex has remarried (thank God, he's someone else's problem now), and her daughter's off to uni. Freedom at last to do what she wants, when she wants to. Sounds bliss... when can I get this happy state of being, too?
