Rating: Summary: Most Amazing Thing I Have Read Review: Andy McNab, a hero in the true meaning. His upfront and brash style of writing keeps you on the edge of your seat, while the descriptive side of the recounted story makes you feel like you are there. Certainly one to read, if you want to know how the worlds best secret military organisation operates and how the sharp and somtimes insulting sense of humour keeps all the men together. Well worth the read.

Rating: Summary: Kickin in Iraq Review: Awesome. Imagine trapped 200 miles in Iraq, pursued by the enemy and no place to hide. "Mcnabb" captures the true essence of combat mission accomplishment, even when things don't go as planned. It's written to make the reader feel like he is the 9th member of the team. Highly recommended!RR
Rating: Summary: A riviting read! Review: He uses much of his British slang throughout the book which makes some parts hard to catch onto, but nevertheless, for ANYONE interested in the military, or if you just like adventure, a highly recommended book! Also read Chris Ryan's Stand By! Stand By!
Rating: Summary: A gripping read that will keep you engrossed for hours Review: McNab is hardly a writing genius and after a few pages I thought of quitting. However, once you get used to the brash style, the story gains a momentum of it's own. McNab utilises a very matter of fact style which allows him to concentrate on the specifics including some very harrowing torture scenes with the Iraqis. It's "Boys Own stuff" and quite thrilling in parts. Well worth a read.

Rating: Summary: Bravo Two Zero Review: Not a bad read at all... I enjoy a rough & tough action novel, fiction or factual, but this book was excellent, I found myself ingrossed in every turning page, would highly recommend this book along with such titles as 'The operators' & 'Bandit Country'... Keep it real!

Rating: Summary: Better than fiction, reality in the fog of war Review: The author has done a great job of capturing the essence of the SAS, one of a few true elite combat units in the world. The fact that he can write the story in the first person adds to the tension. The adventure is a great story and a reality check for those who thought that the electronic age ended the fog of war. For those tired of a world where self esteem is taught in classes as a substitute for competence and performance this is the perfect cure.
