Review: Point Blanc is a great book. Alex is a 15 year old teenage boy who has no parents or relatives but lives with his housekeeper. He overcomes reasons to turn back or fail. He is smart and curious. His bravery helps him solve the problems that normal people would ignore.
Alex is forced to become a spy when his uncle dies and MI6 (British intelligence) blackmails him into getting information about mysterious dilemmas.
This book is action packed with dangerous missions where Alex Rider is in constant danger. Once when Alex is walking, he sees a car where a man is selling drugs. He gets on his bike and follows the man to a cruise boat. After the man gets in the boat Alex locks the door from the outside. He gets into a crane and lifts up the boat over the police station. When one of the workers sees Alex in the crane, they decide to climb up to get him. When Alex was at the bottom of the ladder the crane collapses over the police station.
The author, Anthony Horowitz, writes in a way that you never want to stop reading. He keeps a curtain over what is really happening so there are a lot of surprises. He tricks you into thinking that there is nothing happening when really there is a big mystery. Point Blanc is the second of four Alex Rider books that includes Stormbreaker, Point Blanc, Skeleton key, and Eagle Strike.
Point Blanc is a great book to read in your free time. This is a great book for those who are hungry for action.

The plot is about when two of the world's most powerful and rich men died (both their sons going to the same school:Point Blanc Academy), MI6 sent Alex Rider to Point Blanc to see if there is any connection between the school and the deaths.
Do we smell trouble or what? lol!

Very exciting and gripping novel. I like!
