Summary: Christmas Memories
Review: This is the first book I've ever read by Richard Paul Evans-one indeed that I shall keep forever in my heart a story of love so profound, so tender. I, too, know what it is like to have a father who is not so closely-knit, but has become more so.

Summary: A Perfect Christmas Gift!
Review: We read The Christmas Box every winter to remind us what's truly important in life. It is a great Christmas gift. I just found another novel The Gravel Drive by Kirk Martin thegraveldrive.com that is equally as inspiring. I will be giving both of these as Christmas gifts this year!

Summary: A Touching Masterpiece
Review: What an incredible book. I just finished the collection and I am sad to say goodbye to David & Maryann Parkin. I felt this book was an inspirational book yet a love story like I have never read before. There are so many emotions that come with this book. One minute I am happy, sad, angry and then uplifted by the characters lives and inspired by their love of life. I found myself appreciating every minute I have with my family because life is like a timepiece.

Summary: just ok
Review: while i really liked the message of the story and was very moved by it, i truly hated how it came to be revealed. sure, there is a bit of fantasy involved in this story--that didn't bother me. but as i noted already, it's the way this message is revealed so unneccesarily slowly as if the author was trying to build suspense that bothers me...also for such a short story, the chapter titles made me feel like i was reading a plot line with embellishments. i felt that they really ruined the simplicity of the story by chopping it up needlessly. the writing really rubbed me the wrong way.

otherwise, it's a nice-ish story.

Summary: Wonderful book!
Review: You just have to read this yourself. I was given this book as a Christmas gift and thinking that is was not my "kind" of book, put it aside for some time. When I did read it I could not put it down. It is a truly beautiful story with lots of meaning and messages for us all. I've passed it on and already given it as a gift myself. As soon as I finished this book I bought "The Locket" and "The Timepiece" - again wonderful books.
