It has about one hundred pages.I thought the book was interesting. I recomend this book to girls.I do not think that to many boys would like it.This book took me about three weeks to read. This book takes place in the winter in December. The book is kind of sad because an old lets a family with not a lot of money move into her house with her and she ends up dieing on Christmas Eve.

Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: A little sappy Review: I've read all three of these stories, and I honestly found them a little bit sappy. (Think Nicholas Sparks at Christmas.) Descriptive details and the hanky factor are both good, but the characters are never fully developed. Their moments of weakness are too temporary and too understandable. I never felt as if any of the characters were real people.

My family and I loved this series. You might also enjoy "Timothy Cratchit's Christmas Carol, 1917" which we found here at Amazon. It is a sequel to the Dickens story. I hope Evans continues to produce Christmas magic

THe story is one of love, loyalty, loss, and so many other moving topics. Upon completing this book you will have gone through a box of tissues and most importantly, you will be confident that there is still vast amounts of goodness and love in this world. A very uplifting story that I highly reccommend to all- especially around the holidays... Enjoy!
