Rating: Summary: Until Death Do Us Apart?! Review: Remember me, by Mary Higgins Clark, is an interesting suspense novel. The theme of the novel is trust. If you are into who done it? Why? And where? This is the book for you. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Once you pick up this book you can't put it down. This novel can be emotional since it deals with the death of a loved one and also can be helpful, in away. It deals with the troubles in a marriage and the trust issue between wife, husband and ex-girlfriend. Mary Higgins Clark wrote this book in the Cape. The characters are so real that you can't help but feel for the mother after she loses her child. Does she go crazy? Is she really crazy? Those are some of the questions you ask your self when reading the novel. You are also so involved with the book because cleverly, the author has not given a hint as to who and why they did it till the very end. Once you read the ending, you are shocked. I know I was really shocked because who I thought had done it was not who it was. This novel also leads you to believe, well for me it did that if you truly are in love with your significant other than you could handle anything. It also makes you wonder if you had a lot of money, would your significant other only love you for that? Many surprising outcomes in this novel. The title says it all and really applies to the novel. Remember me, applying to a loved one recently lost. This book is very interesting and I recommend it for those who like mystery and suspense, and yes, Romance!
Rating: Summary: Wonderful. Review: I listened to the abridged audio cassette recording of Mary Higgins Clark's Remember me, read by actress Megan Gallagher and it so far my favorite Higgins Clark story, it was a joy to listen to not only because Mary Hggins Clark is such a great writer but also because Megan Gallagher has a nice pleasant voice which is always a plus when listening to an audio recording of a great book, there is nothing worse than listening to an audio recording of a fantastic book than when the reader has an annoying flat unemotional voice so I'm so glad that Megan Gallagher read this book with as much emotion as if she was making a movie or appearing in a TV show because she really made me feel as if I was listening to a movie and really made me feel sympathy for Menley even though she is a fictional character and I highly recommend this audio to be listened to as well as reading the book! I was also lucky to get the the unabridged audio recording from books on tape that normally is about 56 dollars or higher on sale for about 20 dollars which some people even think that is pricey but it was worth it for me because though I love to read I also love to listen to audio recordings but because I have been extremely busy I haven't yet found the time to listen to it but I'm going to try and make the time soon, that is one of my New Years's resolutions to make more time to sit and relax and enjoy a good book or audiobook!
Rating: Summary: Mary Higgins Clark's best ever!!! Review: This is my favorite mystery. I love Mary Higgins Clark. Her books are fast paced, suspenseful with wonderful characters that all interconnect. I always take one of her books on vacation with me! I have read and enjoyed them all. This one was just a cut above. She mixes more supernatural elements with her usual murder mystery. The Cape Cod setting is extremely intersting- almost a character of its own. Menley is a wonderful heroine that seems even more finely drawn that Clark's usual young protagonists. There are really several interconnecting stories- all exciting and well written. This is one of the few mysteries that I curl up with again every so often- definately worth reading!
Rating: Summary: WOW Review: A lot of people when writing a review use: WOW! GREAT BOOK! or THIS BOOK WAS OK or I HATED IT.....Well yes, I have decided to go with the first one..WOW! GREAT BOOK! I won't give away "Remember Me" but all I can say is if you haven't read and MHC book, I suggest you start with this one ASAP. Lots of mystery and magical feelings. You'll enjoy it! :-)
Rating: Summary: Not up to par Review: Let me start off by saying that I have read all of MHC early work and have really enjoyed reading them. Remember Me is very slow and drawn out. I did not feel like I knew the characters very well, nor did I really care for any of them. There was no one point in the book that made me keep reading other than I just wanted to finish it. The story line was so so. Too many characters and very choppy reading. Also, it was not at all suspensefull!! I got to the climax and was like 'oh okay.' If you want a good read try "A Cry in the Night" it still remains my favorite of them all.

Rating: Summary: Mystifying Suspense Review: Menley Nichols had finally overcome the tragic death of her two-year-old son, Bobby. The haunting images of the train smashing her car at the crossing had passed, and the terrorizing cries of her lost little boy had stopped sounding in her ears. Though her marriage to Adam, a high profile criminal attorney, had briefly fallen apart, the birth of their daughter Hannah promised to revitalize their relationship. After intensive therapy and the support of her loving husband, she had moved on and the anxiety attacks were rare. Menley had a new baby girl, Hannah, to care for now and the past was behind her. The summer was slowly approaching and both Menley and Adam believed it the ideal time for a much-earned vacation. They chose to rent a home in Cape Cod, where Adam had spent his summers as a child. It was a serene and picturesque setting, an ideal location for relaxation. Upon their arrival, Elaine Atkins, a prominent realistate agent as well as an old friend of Adam's, showed them Remember House. Despite the home's sinister legend, Menley fell in love with the eighteenth century landmark. After just a few days in beautiful Cape Cod, Adam was called back to New York on business.Unbeknownst to her husband, Menley suffered a disturbing incident in which she heard the shrill sound of an oncoming train echoing through the house and the terrified screams of her baby. But Menley couldn't let Adam know she had suffered another panic attack; he would never trust her with the baby alone again. And so she continued on as if nothing had happened, all the while questioning her sanity and the safety of her child. Upon his return, Adam agreed to represent Scott Covey, a man accused of the scandalous murder of his late wife, Vivian Carpenter Covey.Against all odds, Adam won the controversial case, making Scott Covey a free man. However, Adam is once again called away to New York, leaving Menley alone with Hannah. All the while Adam is gone, strange incidents at Remember House forced Menley to relive the accident in which she lost her son. The climatic conclusion to this suspense novel will leave you stunned. Read on! Remember Me, by Mary Higgins Clark, is a mystifying thriller full of love, terror, and greed that captivates the reader from the first page until the last. The author cleverly uses Menley's fluctuating emotions over her lost child, her marriage, and her precious infant to hold the reader's attention while the convoluted plot is evolving. Though the complex development of separate characters throughout the novel can be confusing at times, the powerful conclusion ties all the conflicting story lines together. I would highly recommend this enthralling work of fiction as it keeps the reader immersed within the author's vision. Remember Me, through its suspenseful twists and turns, proves to be the epitome of artful drama.
Rating: Summary: Remember... Review: Once again, Mary Higgins Clark creates a new psychological thriller through Remember Me, an engaging tale of suspense revolving around the condemnation of a young mother. Step by step, she captures the legend of Cape Cod with the rising tides of terror and the grip of menace that hover over its inhabitants. Menley Nichols, the young wife of a high-profile criminal defense attorney has never stopped blaming herself for the accident that cause the death of her two-year-old son Bobby. As the aftermath, her marriage to her husband Adam, starts to fall apart, but the birth of their precious daughter Hannah promises a new life for them in the Remember House Adam rented at Cape Cod. Nonetheless, strange incidents start to occur__incidents that make Menley relive the horror of the accident and make her fear for Hannah. Again, Menley and Adam are drawn into a dark and entangled web of lies that threatens to shatter their marriage, and foreboding events that disrupts the seemingly peaceful town of Cape Cod. Among them, an Alzheimer's victim, a teenage baby-sitter, a suspect of murder, a flamboyant woman with a link to the suspect, and an attractive real estate agent who belong to Adam's past on the Cape. Who is the menace? Remember Me is another of my favorite novel by Mary Higgins Clark. Unlike Loves Music, Loves to Dance, by Mrs. Clark, Remember Me focus itself on the bitterness of Menley and Adam's marriage that was terrorize by a sinister force rather than the puzzle of the killer's identity. This furthers the complication as well as the fragility of their relationship, and provides a deeper meaning of marriage. As incidents after incidents occur, the story rises to an electrifying climax that led one's heart to a wrenching stop. I recommend this novel to anyone who wants to try a riveting tale of suspense.
Rating: Summary: Remember Me Review: This book was really good. It made me realize that just about anything bad can happen when you are least expecting anything. Mary is a really good writer. She goes into deep detail and explains everything well. I liked this book because it reminded me a lot of my life. You need to let everyone you love know because if you don't then one day you will be sorry. This is also a good book because Mary explains everything that is going so good that you can't mistake anything. If you like a little bit of suspence then you will like Mary Higgins Clark books. She writes a lot of suspense books. Also in this book there are young people so this is a good book to read if you are in the late teens and like to read a suspense/romance novel.
