Rating: Summary: Flower Reviews... Review: Eh, this book was okay. Nancy Harmon/Eldridge is the main character who's first children were murdered and she was found guilty of it. Starting life over she finds the same thing happening...again. This book was kinda boring, I skipped through alot of parts. Despite my age, I could handle the somewhat adult content. I'd give this book a three, because I have read better...and it wasn't even that 'thrilling' as was promised.

Rating: Summary: Where are the Children Review: I strongly recommend this book to any one that enjoys reading mystery books. It is a hard book to put down because you are always wondering what is going to happen next. I am not going to give away the ending, so go and get the book and read it. This book is about this woman named Nancy who married Carl and they had two children Peter and Lisa. Her children came up missing and found them dead. Nancy was put on trial for the death of her children. Although, she was never found guilty because something went wrong during the trial. Then Nancy got remarried and they had two children. Everything was going great and then her children came up missing. They said that she was responsible for their death. Now they are try to figure if she is guilty or innocent!
Rating: Summary: gripping, but disturbing Review: I couldn't put the book down, so it was definitely successful in holding my interest. Though I figured out who the villian was, the sole reason to read on was to find out how the characters would rescue the missing children. The topic of child molestation was difficult for me, a mom, to read about because it was horrifying to face that this reality exists in the world. This book is only slightly less disturbing than All Around Town, another Clark book, where child molestation is disguised as religious piety and twisted power. If you can live with having your stomach cramp in horror, this book is worth a read.
Rating: Summary: Mary Higgins Clark's Best Book (I've read almost all hers) Review: One of my favorite books of all time! You feel that you are experiencing everything the main character is. The book is about a young woman whose children have disappeared. Years earlier, her two children from her previous marriage disappeared. Naturally, when people find out about her past (she moved to a new location to make a fresh start) virtually everyone suspects her of murdering her second family of children. Adding to the suspenseful tone of the book is the tension created by the impending Nor'easter. When I first read this book, I'd never been to the Northeast, but the book made me feel as if I were there. A great tale of the suspicions people harbor -- suspicions that cause the main character to doubt herself and wonder if she's insane and really did hurt her previous and current children. As the reader wonders this too, the suspense continues to build. It's obvious that if she wasn't insane to begin with, the strain of facing the same horror a second time may very well push her over the brink.
Rating: Summary: Where are the children? Review: This is one of Mary Higgins Clark's best books ever. The best part of this book was the suspense she keeps you in. Where she flips from different characters and different parts of the story makes and keeps the book interesting. The story of a mother who is charged of killing her first two children and seven years later has to relive it with her new family and kids. The mystery throughout the book is to know who's doing what and what is going on in different places, which is terrific. The different characters that were brought in made this story great. Clark describes everything so well; you can picture yourself there trying to solve the mystery with the characters.
Rating: Summary: Great Story...but a little too Predictable... Review: I love Ms. Clark for her really suspenseful mysteries. This one was great, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was simply because she revealed too much information too soon. Too many heroes at the end and we all knew 'where the children were', at least I did the entire book. We also knew who the villain was and I was disapointed that she didn't drag it out until the end. But the villain was as evil as she could make him and truly was creepy. I just didn't enjoy it as much when I realized who it was so soon. Not much suspense in this story, but if you have kids, this will make you leery of EVERYONE around you and send chills down your spine...~Where are the children? That question is once again being asked to her, the mother of two who was once long ago accused of the macabre killing of her other two children and dumping them into the ocean. But Nancy Harmon knows, or at least, she doesn't remember killing them. So now after 7 years it is happening again...and with another set of children she has with a new husband and a new life. Can she do this again? Face the accusation and whispers around her? Why can't she remember that night 7 years ago when they were missing? Who was doing this? Why? Why is the nightmare back? But it is no nightmare...an unspeakable evil is lurking and the cops must find the children before it happens again...can their mother help or hinder the investigation? Why can't she just remember that night 7 years ago? Why was it a blank? Will her new husband believe her cries of innocence? Will the past come knocking on her door? The burning question remains...where ARE the children??? Tracy Talley~@
Rating: Summary: Another great one from the Queen of suspense Review: As always we get another great novel from the Queen of susense. This book is filled with terror, suspense and sadness. You will not be able to put it down.
Rating: Summary: Good book but too predictable Review: This book was interesting and had a good plot. But it revealed things things too soon. I knew who the kidnapper was from the very begining. It came right out and told you when it should have waited until somewhere towards the end. It also had too many people realize where the children were at the same time. I guess you chould say it has too many heros. I recommend this book to people who don't like being in suspence up until the last minute.
Rating: Summary: THE BEST BOOK Review: This book was very intriguing and suspenseful. The whole idea of the mother getting blamed for the murders of her 4 children is classic. Although in the beginning it is very slow and hard to get into it sures comes out with a splended ending.
