Rating: Summary: Literally a "killer" plot!!!! Review: Mary Higgins Clark has done it again. I was up all night trying to solve the mystery before Clark did. A young mother is accused of killing her two young children and driving her husband to suicide. When she tries to start a new life, it happens again. The plot takes incredible twists and keeps the suspense until the last page. If you liked "Remember Me" you'll love this one. Clark managed to pull me into the story on the first page because the suspense starts there!!!

Rating: Summary: Engrossing,... But Not Very Intelligent Review: I found this novel to be so interesting, that I read it in one evening. However, I found a great deal of the author's writing style to be somewhat amateurish. This surprised me considering that she is an accomplished writer. Another reason that I gave this story only three stars is that the author did not appear to be knowlegable in many areas that the story covered, for instance, how the police handle evidence. Nonetheless, this could be due to the novel being written over 30 years ago.
Nancy Harmon had her children abducted and murdered on her birthday, seven years before this story takes place. All the evidence points to her being the perpetrator. After the horror of losing her children, husband and reputation, she has rebuilt her life in a quiet town on the Cape. Seven years to the day, an anonymous article is published in the local newspaper revealing who Nancy really is, and the evil crimes that she allegedly commit. Even more frightening, Nancy's children from her present marriage dissappear, and once again the evidence points to her.
This story will keep you guessing at who the murderer really is, why is he or she doing this, and will Nancy's children be found in time. This story is worth checking out.

Rating: Summary: Where are the Children? Review: I wanted to avoid the description of "it's a real page-turner," but that is so fitting that I have to use it. Mary Higgins Clark has been blessed with a gift of storytelling so descriptive that you might almost feel that you are within the story ... feeling the chill of the Cape Cod winter, or wanting to jump in and defend the book's main character. This book will truly keep you in suspense until the very end.
