Summary: Typicial Marcinko action thriller
Review: Another glimpse into the dark world of SPEC WARFARE.Truth is seperated from fiction by a thin fine line.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: HOOYAH!
Review: Another outstanding, highly motivational piece of Roguish action from good ol' Demo Dick, my favorite author. I had the pleasure of reading this book right after graduation from the USAF Security Forces Academy at Lackland AFB, TX. In retrospect, it's apropos that the main villain is a German, seeing how Germany is proving to be such an unreliable "ally" in our current War on Terror.

Summary: A fun read, but a predicitable plot scenario
Review: Dick Marcinko never stops the action, and knows how to write a real page-turner. This book is no exception, and my husband and I argued over who got to read it first (we ended up trading off each day). However, I found the plot line to be "SSDB", i.e. Same Stuff, Different Book. Billionaire badguy plots international realignment of power and damage to the U.S. Rogue Warrior steps in and saves the world from the bad guys. Dick, your books are fun to read, and I have no plans to stop buying them, but next time, could you try for a little more originality in the story line?

Summary: Typical Marcinco
Review: For me, the excitement peaked during the lockout at the beginning of the book. I know that is always shaky. As for the rest of the book it is typical Marcinco. This time we are in Europe. There is a fair degree of excitement and carnage. I find, though, that starting with his 3rd book, the stories get a little more far out and less like true spec-ops. It is still a fun read but the reality level gets stretched with each new book. I still enjoyed the book though.

I would like to see more of the Red Cell days where he could detail more of the security breaches made on US bases and the embarrasment he caused for so many CO's. A novel about ops in Saudi or Iraq or Isreal would be an interesting change of pace.

Summary: Outstanding Action
Review: From cover to cover, this book is action packed in the traditional Marcinko style. Without a doubt, this is the best of the Rogue Warrior Series to date.

Summary: Roguishly Repertitive
Review: How many times can you read about leading from the front to snoop and poop as Roy Bohem the grandaddy of all SEALs has taught us tadpoles.Get some new material!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A Triple But not a Home Run
Review: I am an avid Rogue Warrior fan and have read all the books by Demo Dick. I liked this but, the gratuitous violence at the end I thought was pretty extreme and depraved, even by Rogue Warrior standards. (e.g. using the bad guy's head like a golf ball, etc.) I eagerly away the next adventure of the Roguester, nevertheless!

Summary: Excellent book
Review: I have just one thing to say:

I am glad he is on our side!

Summary: Nice read
Review: I just started reading Marcinko's stuff and enjoy his perspective on the military. I don't have the expertise to evaluate how much is truth, how much fiction and how much bias, but it is if nothing else fun to read. Civilian that I am, the language does get a little tiring - I know it comes with the territory, but I'm adapting. Now, onto "Red Cell!"
