Rating: Summary: Clifford, And The Grouchy Neighbors Review: Clifford and the Grouchy Neighbors was Written and Illustrated by Norman Bridwell, and was published in 1985. Clifford and the Grouchy Neighbors is a book about a Girl named Emily Elizabeth and a Big Red-Dog named Clifford. Emily and Clifford had neighbors who didn't like Clifford at all! And when Clifford tried to visit they never paid attention to him at all. We he slept he would interrupt their sleep and bother them. When the grouchy lady sang, Clifford would sing too, but a little to loudly and damaged the window. Clifford would be so big that he would block then sun from their plants. And when he saw that they were ever in help he would try but would only make it worse. The neighbors yelled and yelled. But when finally one day Clifford saw that their birds were in trouble with a cat...Clifford vacuumed the cat right up! Then the neighbors thanked him for saving their birds. And told him he wasn't a bad dog after all! This book is a good book for children. It can teach them that if something or someone does all this uncalled for stuff they don't mean to do... that in the mean time it can turn out that someone can do something really good for you or even save someone else.

Rating: Summary: Grouchy Neighbors Liked Clifford After All Review: I'm five years old. This is a really good book. I liked it when Clifford saved the bird, and when he got a hug from the grouchy neighbors. In the beginning, the grouchy neighbors had a sign that said no dogs allowed. They didn't like Clifford. Sometimes Clifford's hair went into the backyard of the neighbors. Clifford sang too loud. They said, "Clifford, don't block the sun." Clifford wished that the grouchy neighbors liked him as much as they liked the birds. One day, Clifford saw some guys putting new pipes in. He saw the cat trying to get the bird. He took a deep breath and sucked up the cat with a pipe. Then the grouchy neighbors ended up liking him after all. I liked it because it was a really good story.
Rating: Summary: CLIFFORD TO THE RESCUE Review: NO MATTER HOW HARD CLIFFORD TRIED, HIS NEIGHBORS DID NOT LIKE HIM. THEY FELT HE SNORED TOO LOUD, HE SHEDDED TOO MUCH, AND HE BLOCKED THEIR SUNLIGHT. AFTER CLIFFORD SAVED THEIR BIRDS FROM BEING DISTURBED BY A WONDERING CAT, THEY REALIZED THAT CLIFFORD WASN'T THAT BAD AFTER ALL. IT PROVES ONCE MORE, THAT YOU CAN'T JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER. CLIFFORD MADE FRIENDS WITH OTHERWISE UNFRIENDLY PEOPLE.
Rating: Summary: this was not the best book Review: ok they didn't accept clifford right off the bat and then in the end they all of a sudden like him?...just because he did one good thing kind of odd...
Rating: Summary: One of the best books that are sad than happy. Review: This book is about a dog that just tried to be liked but the neighbors did not give him a chance. It is sad the people sometimes judge peole by their looks or what they weare not by their kindness or heart. That happen to Clifford at first he was not liked but then he saved the little animals and became hero. The same with humans your best cool friend dwont help you in a horrible situation only the person with a good heart will jump to save you.
Rating: Summary: This book wasnt my favorite book Review: This book wasn't the greatest book in the world. I read it and it didn't make much sense, the author just kept repeating himself and the concept never concluded, Clifford just sucked some cat through a tube and all of the sudden the neighbors loved him, unbelievable. If everyone in the whole town liked Clifford why wouldn't these neighbors? Clifford should've just went into his giant house and not bother the old people, instead of trying to gain friendship. I would recommend it to younger people but not teenagers 15 and up, they should read something like Spot, its much more interactive. So I rate it an overall 2 out of 5.
