Summary: Terry Pratchett is spelled with two 't' s
Review: Anyone who has ended up here and is looking for more work by Terry Pratchett should do a search for the name spelled with two 't's. You'll find a lot more.

Summary: Pratchet is a demi-god ;)
Review: For anyone who hasn't discovered Terry Pratchet - Go out and buy something (anything!) by him TODAY. Wings is a children's book but still worth reading. His other works are all best sellers in England - a must for all fans of wit. It pokes a finger in the eye of fantasy fiction whilst at the same time getting all cuddley with Tolkien. Amozon you have to get more books by this guy! Please go out get a Pratchet book (from a library if you have to!) and improve your life. Now excuse me I just read his latest book - which has left me bare footed again. Must get some stick on socks ;)

Summary: Great book, but not his only 1!
Review: I got into Terry Pratchet a bit late, so i am catching up on his books. The Trucks/Diggers/Wings trilogy is good, but for a better read try one of his Discworld Trilogy, with titles such as The Fith Elephant and Jingo, and featuring characters such as Rincewind, Twoflower, Hrun the Barbarian, Sam Vimes and of course Death! His sometimes dry sense of humour was at first difficult to understand, but the footnotes at the end of the page made it all worthwhile.

Summary: Great for people of all ages. Your imagination can fly.
Review: I think it is the best gift that I have given to my two daughters. They enjoyed this book.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Read the Discworld books
Review: I too was annoyed to see that only one of Terry Pratchet's books was available with Amazon. This one was more for the younger teenagers, but the Disc world books such as Guards Guards, and Soul music, are cleverly written. The humour is subtle, and the books make you think about life with an ironic point of view. Try them all

Summary: Great book
Review: I've read all three books in the Bromeliad series and found them very interesting, touching, and funny (and I've heard the audio version of Diggers and feel the narrator did a great job). Just to let people who haven't read any of these books know, the first (Kirkus) reviewer spelled two of the characters names wrong...making me wonder if he really read or listened to any of these books before giving his review.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Why only one Terry Prachet book?
Review: If you have anything against a sense of humour - Don't read Terry Prachet. Everyone of my friends are as much in love with his work as I am. If you enjoyed Wings, try a Discworld book! There is none better than Terry Pratchet to help you escape reality for a short time (it's better than any drug!).

Summary: A triumph for nome-kind!
Review: In Diggers, the nomes living in a quarry found themselves besieged by humans. In the end, Masklin rescued them with nothing short of a miracle. This book is the story of that miracle.

This book is so funny that I often found myself laughing out loud while reading it. Not only that, the action is gripping, and the ending is touching. This book is a wonderful buy.

Summary: Hilarious WINGS
Review: My Dad has been reading Terry Pratchett books and he thought I'd like this one. He was right! You should read this book , because it is very funny and exciting. The book is about three nomes that got stuck on Earth and need to take a space shuttle home. The nomes get a lot of useful help from Thing, a machine. But too bad when Thing runs out of "pow" (power)!
I don't have the first two books from this trilogy but I am getting them next!
