Summary: Fortunate Read-aloud parent
Review: I volunteered for my daughters KDG class to be a read-aloud parent. The book was chosen for me. When I brought the book home to preview what I was going to be reading to the class, I vowed I would read it at least a dozen times at home first. Otherwise I would have ended the story in my daughter's class with tears streaming down my face as I had the first time I read it, and several times again. This is such a wonderful story and so beautifully illustrated. I decided that the whole class should have a jingle bell from Santa's sleigh. Luckily I found just what I needed at the craft store! I would like to thank the person who chose the book for me to read, for giving me the opportunity to experience this story in such a way that I was passing it along to not only my own children, but to 25 others. I would also like to thank the author for sharing with me a truly special gift. I will continue to recommend this book to everyone I know, and hope that they appreciate it the way I do. P.S. It is also going to be Christmas gifts for a few of my neices and nephews!

Summary: The Polar Express - a magical story for young and old
Review: A wonderful story that warms the hearts of those who wish to believe in the magic of Santa Claus. A richly written and illustrated description of a young boys experience as he is carried to the North Pole in time to see Santa before he leaves on his journey to visit children the world over on Christmas eve. Picked from the crowd of other boys and girls also on the Polar Express, the child chooses the first gift of christmas. Upon his return home he discovers that the gift he has chosen has become lost. Awakening Christmas morning he finds a note from Santa and a special surprise that he is able to enjoy for the rest of his life. A gift for all of those who still believe. . . . You will probably enjoy this more than your children will.

Summary: The Polar Express
Review: I think The Polar Express is a great book. It opens up the imagination and belief that there is a person who delivers happiness for kids and that children do believe, and believing is just the begining.

Summary: An Annual Favorite
Review: The Polar Express is undoubtedly one of my daughter and my favorite books - especially at Christmas! The story is wonderful and uplifting. The illustrations are beautiful. It has become a classic with our family to read every year - even though my 5 year old is now 14! The cassette tape, narrated by William Hurt, and the silver bell that accompanied her gift set many years ago was the icing on the cake.

Summary: A Great Book For All Ages: The Polar Express
Review: The Polar Express is an excellent children's book. My mother, who has taught for 23 years has read this book to her class every year. She bought The Polar Express for me for Christmas when I was in kindergarten. I read it numerous times when I was little and continue to read it today. The Polar Express is about a small boy who believes in Santa Claus but others tell him differently. He knows that there is a Santa Claus so he doesn't listen to anyone that tells him different. This book, if bought, will be treasured in your home forever.

Summary: The Polar Express
Review: I started reading this book to my children 15 years ago when they were toddlers. I would keep it with my Christmas decorations and bring it out every holiday season. Once they grew too old to be read to, I still brought it out every year and put it on the coffee table. Last year I started reading it to my two-year old son. I still cry with nostaligia each time I read The Polar Express, remembering the magic it held for my older children and how we read it over and over. Well, my second son loved it so much, it never go put away with the Christmas decorations. We read it together constantly, even during the summer! This is a book that never loses its magic -- for children and adults alike. I plan to give this book to my neices and nephews this Christmas.
