Summary: Awesome book but goes slow
Review: I thought that the book Cal Ripken Jr. The Only Way I know was a really good book. Because, one it shows you how it feels to be in the majors. Against tough pitchers. Second it makes you feel like you have lived with him your whole life. The third is how I did not like the book. It was very slow going. It went at a very slow pace it was very boring at times. But other than that it was a really good book. Thats why I gave it 4 stars.

Review: If you are a fan of Cal Ripken Jr., "The Only Way I Know" is the book for you. In this autobiography Cal shares information with us on how he got to where he is today and what it is like being a profesional baseball player. He overcame a lot during his brilliant career as a Baltimore Oriole. In Ripken's illustrious 20 year career with the Baltimore Orioles he broke several records and appeared in several all-star games. This book is 326 pages and took me about three weeks to read. I am a big fan of Cal Ripken Jr. so I really enjoyed this book. Ripken is one of the most recognized profesional athletes ever, so you can only imagine how good this book really is. As you all know Ripken broke the record of consecutive games by playing 2,132 consecutive games; he is known as the iron man. There are also many pictures in the book from different points in Ripken's career. I hope you enjoy this book.

Summary: Cal tells what it takes.
Review: In this book Cal Ripken talks about his career. How he accomplished his consecutive streak of Games played. He talks about being ordinary like every body else. He puts his heart into the game he loves. This is an excellent book, Vibrating that touches the heart. It changed the way I feel about the game of baseball. Now I try my hardest when I step on the diamond. And appreciate being able to be apart of the game.

Summary: Somewhat interesting but the facts are wrong
Review: In this book the author states that Frank Robinson and Carl Yastremski were the only players to win the Triple crown. If I'm not wrong, I believe that Mickey Mantle and Ted Williams also were triple crown winners. He also says that Davey Johnson won the World Series as manager of the Cincinnati Reds. This is also wrong. Can someone explain this to me.

Summary: This book was awesome!
Review: Ripken talks about his childhood in a way that is not boring, for example, he talks about how him and his brothers and sisters broke so many windows that their dad taught them how to cut and replace windows! There are two sections of pictures, at least half of which are from Ripken's younger days, including a toddler. I highly recommend this book to any Baseball fan!

Summary: Unreadable book for autographs only.
Review: This biography of Cal Ripken was written to sell, not to read. The book rambles around and around and goes nowhere. Stories are unfinished, and insight that could be given by Cal on his great career is missing. A book to get an autograph on, but don't waste your time opening it. Watch a ball game instead.

If I were Cal I'd be ashamed this book was published with my support.

Summary: A Must Read For All Baseball Fans
Review: This book details Cal's Life. The Information is great and so is the book.
