Summary: Fast paced and truly engrossing
Review: I'm a huge mystery/thriller reader, and I really enjoyed this book. The plot moves along at high speed, the action is fast and furious, and the atmosphere Ms. Tan creates for her characters rang true. I found my affection for the main character growing as the book unfolded, which caused me to finish this book in a day and immediately begin reading the second book in this series. I hope there will be more to look forward to from Maureen Tan!

Summary: Exhausted from reading all night
Review: It was so difficult to put this book down that I ended up reading through the night. It was a true delight to finally read a book that was'nt "Cheesy", but actually had a plot. Thank You Ms. Tan for finally giving us a book that I not only enjoy but truly am looking foward to a sequel!

Review: Jane Nichols is an absolutely electrifying character. She is a woman of steel, a key operative of the MI-5, a woman James-Bond. Fearless, tough, no-nonsense, take-charge, knows how to get what she wants, Jane is simply awesome! Jane's soft side shows in her personal life. Her first sexual encounter with Alex is so devastating sexy in which she had been making love to her memory with Brian. That Alex had merely provided the necessary body. The haunting of the violent death of her parent and her lover, Brian, giving her bad dreams. All these showed Jane is a human and has feeling too, despite the fact that she can be a lethal fighting machine. Jane Nichols is my heroine!
