Review: Whether you liked Fire Lover or not you won't want to miss reading 'Points of Origin...playing with fire' the book written by the criminal profiled in Fire Lover. 'Points of Origin...playing with fire' was confiscated from John Orr's home at the time of his arrest. The fiction novel (Orr claims the novel is fiction) appears to be a 'roadmap' to the crimes Orr was convicted of. The two main fictional characters in the book Phil Langtry, an arson investigator and Aaron Stiles, a serial arsonist who also happens to be a firefighter, closely parallels the two faces of John L. Orr. A must read for a chilling insight into the psyche of a serial arsonist. Orr is currently being transferred to a State of California prison to serve out four consecutive life sentences for the deaths of four people resulting from one of the many fires he was convicted of setting. NOTE: Neither John Orr nor his family will profit from the sale of 'Points of Origin...playing with fire'. A restitution fund has been set up with the State of California Board of Control through the Attorney General's Office and a portion of proceeds is being deposited into that account.
