Summary: Musical lyrics are more memerable than any other lessons!
Review: I remember being sick in the 10th grade and missing important lectures in my history class. When I returned, I aced the test with very little review time because our subject was familiar to me from folk songs I'd learned in scouts. Even tho, when I was in scouts, I never knew the meaning of those goofey lyrics; it suddenly all came rushing back to me when I took that test. I've never found a better learning method than music! I have Rappanese II; I bought it to help me review and get "back in the groove" after taking a year off from college (I'm minoring in French). I wish Rappanese made French tapes that were even more advanced than these, but as simple as they are I enjoyed them and found them helpful (and I will never forget how to say "he fell in the grave without making a sound"!). My fiance, who has never taken *any* foreign language classes, listened to Rappanese in the car on our way to dinner last night and after 20 minutes, was reciting the names of the colors. So much for the theory that the older you are, the less flexible your brain!!
