Review: I bought this book several years ago and was deeply impressed by the creativity of the idea as well as the depth of the interviews. People truly open up and reveal hilarious, startling and scandalous feelings and motives about their sexual escapades. What makes these oral histories even more intriguing, much like Studs Terkel, is the fact that a basic outline of the person is given and at some point you come away with the impression that this could be anyone from anywhere. Which makes gazing across a large group of people in public, all the more interesting!

Summary: GREAT IDEA-interviews with people about their sexuality.
Review: I thought this was really cool. Fascinating, (not always sexy, but sometimes it is); it made me think about the wide range of sexual expression in our culture. After listening to this audiobook, I feel like I might be less likely to make some types of assumptions about people, and perhaps more open to them. I count this as an important "text" in my continuing exploration of sexuality.

Review: More than just a crufty, old guy talking about his prying into the sex-lives of others... It's more like Herotica, the histories of the interviewees are read well and in some cases fairly hot.
