Summary: Another good book from Steinberg
Review: A master thief becomes involved in a top-secret government cover-up when he breaks into a safe, which he shouldn't. This cover-up has been secretly protected since WWII and the government will do anything to keep it that way. It deals with aliens being hidden from the outside world. The second part of the book is not as good as the first, but the action and Steinberg's writting make up for it. The ending may be a bit silly, but it's a good book.

Summary: Good idea (safecracking), awful plot = don't bother
Review: Although the original premise has great potential, the 'bad guys' and the resources of the main character are so unbelievable the book doesn't work at all. Don't bother

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Good
Review: Book started off very well but didn't keep up the pace. It was a little far fetched in the end, but overall it was good enough to recommend.

Summary: A complex tale with a great anti-hero
Review: Don't tug on superman's cape, don't steal from master thief Gregory Picaro. We willinging follow our hero throughout the country as he breaks and enters to uncover the 50 year old secret. The book suceeds because the characters are well drawn and the dialogue is well written. These qualities make the somewhat challenging plot fun to follow.

Summary: Starts out SO good....
Review: I absolutely love thriller/mysteries and devoured the first half of the book. Then it turned into science fiction, which I absolutely do not love, and kind of rolled my eyes toward the end. Doggone, it really had potential, too. I did like the gypsies who entered later in the story. I don't know who I wanted Joe & Max to be...just not who they were! Oh well. I still give it 3 stars. The first half did deserve that.

Summary: Buy it...read it......pray for the movie to come out!
Review: I can't rave enough about this book. The brief synopsis on the covers give very little to tell you the true essence of this book. Being a sc-fi fan I kinda figured it out about half way through......! But the twists and turns kept me guessing and second guessing it. Good Book.

Summary: GREAT
Review: I have never read any of the other books that Richard Steinberg has put out, but when I was done with this one. I had to loan it to my mother n law who had it done in three days! And she is very interested in getting his other books just like I am. I am usually a true crime reader but something about this book caught my eye, and I was up late every night reading it! A must book for everyone, it makes you think if what he has written about didn't really happen out there in the Nevada desert!

Summary: Excellent thriller!
Review: I love this book. It keeps the reader guessing as the plot unfolds. The realism of the government coverups and plots is incredible. I recommend this book to anyone who likes science-fiction.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Excellent Novel!!
Review: I was impressed with Steinbergs first novel and was not disappointed by his second. An original novel that was hard to put down. Safe cracking mixed with government conspiracies and aliens come together for a great read.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great novel
Review: I've read all three books written by Steinbrg and I feel this is by far the best. Would like to see this made into a movie. I am looking forward to his next novel.
