Summary: Less then one star
Review: I thought I'm Catholic, I love Mary, why not give it a shot. But this was a mistake. This woman took one of the most beautiful things about God's creation and turned her into a marketing product. A nice try to lure people into Annie Kirkwood's religious beliefs. This woman didn't know much about history (the way she had Mary relating to Joseph before marriage wasn't done in those days), or the Bible, or how to be subtle when attacking someone else's religion.

Summary: Seems everyone loves it or hates it....I'm in the middle....
Review: I'm writing this review on August 20th, 2001. According to this book New York is underwater, California has fallen into the sea and most of the east coast has been re-written. This is not the first text to predict dire earth changes but makes very GENERAL predictions for specific years. Now that these years have come and gone without prediction of the prophecy what are we to think? I found the writing in the first half of the book very repetitive and hardly displaying the depth of material found in the latter half. In the back of my "Mary's Message" book is a paragraph about Byron Kirkwood's book (Anne's husband) called "Survival Guide for the New Millennium : How to Survive the Coming Earth Changes"...fairly suspect to say the least...The material greatly improves beginning with chapter 7 as it coincidentally loses its "beat a dead horse" earth changes tone. These chapters are well written and indeed seem to be spoken from someone with a "higher than physical" perspective and pretty much agrees with the "Seth" material channeled by Jane Roberts and some parts with the "Abraham" material channeled by Esther Hicks. I would suggest either of those authors in lieu of Mrs. Kirkwood.

Summary: A New Age Mary??
Review: If you trust the bible for truth then you don't want to read this. This book is full of false teachings and new age material... Aliens, false prophecies from Mary herself, (sorry Annie, but the prophecies you gave for the last few years of the millenium didn't pass) and even includes a chapter (the last one) from Jesus himself saying 'yes you have lived before' (the bible is clear on reincarnation and says we die once). The natural catastrophes she gives are so lengthy it's hard for her not to miss but still she did. Like other reviewers said this book was an obvious money making opportunity for Annie to prey on the Y2K crowd. BUT what now??? None of it came to pass so this book is obsolete.

Summary: A MESSAGE UNLIMITED
Review: This message, being addressed to all men/women, is aimed at enlarging the consciousness of the narrow-minded who are of the persuasion that God is subject to their particular religion and not the other way around. What a wonderful book. I have read it over and over. The content of the message is its strength. Read it, and you will not need convincing. Its impact is profound and leaves you with a deeper sense of the truth and the largeness of truth, as opposed to the "We're right and everyone else is wrong" mentality. Read it.

Summary: NOT Mary's Message to the World ( a more accurate title)
Review: While this book contains certain truths, such as "God loves you regardless of your skin color," it cannot by any stretch of the imagination be considered authentic Catholic teaching or actual Marian locutions. The Bible tells us that there is salvation under no other name but Jesus, and the Church agrees. Kirkwood's supposed locutions disagree. Choose wisely who you will trust. I cannot recommend this book, since it is contrary to the doctrine of what we do know to be divine revelation. Plainly put, these are NOT Mary's messages. If you do want to know what kind of Marian devotion will lead to to God, read "True Devotion to Mary," by St. Louis DeMontfort. Mary's real message to the world is none other than her last words recorded in Scripture, "Do whatever (Jesus) tells you."

Summary: Catholics who love the Church will shun this book.
Review: You do not have to get very far into this book to know that it is not worth reading. For Catholics who know their faith, the errors will begin to jump out at them immediately. It claims that Mary says all religions are the same, there is no hell, it doesn't matter what you do, you'll still get to heaven, Catholics worship Mary, the Church is hiding what she has to say, etc., etc. If one accepts the writings of this book, they must realize that they are in opposition to the teachings of the Catholic Church. Use your time to read solid Catholic books. Life is short, and eternity is very long . . . and yes, Annie, there is a hell.
