Mr Silly

Summary: Childhood Classic
Review: If I were to make a list of some of my favorite books from my childhood, Mr. Silly would no doubt be on it! I'm lucky enough to own a hard cover copy of this (that colored in the back of when I was 3). I have also enjoyed reading this to kids now that I'm older--opportunity for interaction and critical thinking skills--What is "normal"? Not a work wearing a monacle and a bright necktie! What sound does a duck really make? One Sentence Summary: Mr. Silly's backward town is holding its annual competition for the silliest idea of the year. (But how can you really sum up a book in one sentence?) I'm really pleased to see Mr. Men and Little Miss books available on Amazon. They may not be fancy or award winners, but that's not really what makes a book great! Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with ALL of the stories of this series, but I CAN recommend Mr. Bump, Mr. Messy, Mr. Tickle and Little Miss Plump.
