Summary: Tryin' to Sleep in the Bed You Made
Review: Great Book! Would love to see this one become a movie. I loved the way the author brought Gayle and Pat together as children, saw how they went two different paths only to come together again. Loved It!

Summary: "TRYING TO SLEEP ", HITS THE BIG SCREEN!
Review: "TRYING TO SLEEP IN THE BED YOU MADE" IS ONE OF THE BEST BOOKS THAT I HAVE READ IN A LONG TIME! I HAVE NEVER READ A BOOK THAT HAS MADE ME SIT STILL AN ENTIRE DAY BECAUSE I COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN! THE REALIZATION OF THE CHARACTERS MADE ME FEEL AS IF I WAS A PART OF THE STORY. IT WAS SO GOOD THAT I CONVINCED ONE OF MY DEAR FRIENDS ( WHO CLAIMS SHE DOESN'T HAVE TIME TO READ) TO SIT DOWN AND READ JUST THE INTRODUCTION, SISTER GIRL WAS HOOKED! WE HAVE ALREADY CAST THE BOOK FOR ITS BIG SCREEN DEBUT. SO MS. DEBERRY AND MS. GRANT IF YOU GET A WHIFF OF THIS WE WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO GIVE YOU OUR SUGGESTIONS! TWO THUMBS UP! WAY! WAY! UP!

Summary: THE BEST BOOK I HAVE EVER READ
Review: Tryin' is definately hands down the best book I have ever read. You will laugh, and cry at the same time. The characters and story line are real, and you can never guess how it is going to end.

Review: I felt that this was a wonderful book about friendship and learning to live with adversity. I really enjoyed the book and I can't wait to read another by the good friends. When are they going to write another?

Summary: Great Book
Review: This was one of the most touching stories that I have ever read. Once I got started I could not put the book down. I loved the story line and the details of the friendship between Pat and Gayle. Ms. DeBerry and Ms. Grant did an excellent job with this book and I look forward to their future works.

Summary: WAY TO GOOD TO PUT DOWN OR LET GO!
Review: I don't have to tell you how great this book is. Let me just say that the moment I met these characters, I became apart of their lives. I saw myself in them. I flew inside the manuscript. These authors definitely did their homework because this is a book that anyone can enjoy. Don't take my word for it. This book speaks for itself. Job well done to Deberry and Grant. I am eagerly awaiting you next novel.

Summary: wild plot plus great characters = terrific story
Review: This book combines a soap-opera plot with characters who are sometimes too good (or too bad or too egocentric) to be true - but somehow, it rocks! I spent a sleep-deprived week staying up way too late reading, and then wondering all day what would happen next. How TWO people could collaborate on something so thoroughly engrossing is remarkable. This book is fun, fun, fun to read and leaves a good taste in your mouth when it's over.

Summary: EXCELLENT..... I RUSHED OUT TO BUY MY OWN COPY!!!
Review: A friend loaned me her book, and after reading it I rushed outto buy my own copy. Of course I couldn't keep this to myself, so Ipassed it on to my sister. Although this is fiction, I can relate to the characters (Pat, Gayle, & Marcus). It's amazing how friendship can be rekindled through something as simple as "communication". I would love to read more about the life of these friends....I hope the authors are working on "Part II".

Summary: I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
Review: I was not going to write a review for this, but then I saw the terrible review it was given by the writer from "Booklist". Give me a break! Joanne, call it a day, because you sure don't know a hit when you read one. Also, I think it's wrong to tell the plot like that in a book review. The book was a good read from start to finish. It is not window dressing. It's fiction, but I'm sure there are plenty of people who can identify with some of the characters and events in the book. I won't go into details, but I will say that I especially like how in the end, it all comes back to the two friends. No unbelievably, mushy happy ending, just a little bit of closure and enough hope to get them to tomorrow. Get this book, and share it with your sisters!

Summary: Buy it now
Review: Not to many books are touching, but this book will get deep inside you. The characters are real and though provoking.
