Summary: exihilerating
Review: THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING. I GIVE IT FIVE STARS BECAUSE IT WAS SO MAGNIFICENT. WE NEED MORE AUTHORS TO WRITE MORE INTERESTING BOOKS LIKE DEBERRY AND GRANT. ESPECIALLY HOW IT SHOWS HOW TWO FRIENDS WILL ALWAYS NEED EACH OTHER AND HOW PEOPLE CAN BE SO LOVING AND CARING REGARDLESS OF MISUNDERSTANDINGS. ONE PART I WAS CONFUSED WAS AT THE ENDING. I HAD READ THE LAST FEW CHAPTERS TWICE TO FIGURE OUT THAT RAMSEY DIED. ALTHOUGH GAYLE SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT OTHERS IT TOOK HER A MAJOR EXPERIENCE TO REALIZE THAT OTHER PEOPLE COUNT AS WELL.

Summary: I Loved This Book!
Review: I bought this book a few years ago never hearing one word about whether or not the book was "good". They had copies on display in the bookstore and it sounded interesting so I took a chance. Well, this is, was, and always will be one of my all-time favorites. I really got into both characters and I was very happy to see Gayle and Pat, two former best friends get through their differences and problems with each other and realize that true friendship never dies. An excellent book that should not be missed!

Summary: The book was absolutely awesome.
Review: Trying to Sleep in the Bed You Made Deberry and Grant "The Let's Discuss It Book Club" found thought this book was riveting. From the moment we picked it up, we found it hard to put down. We could feel the hurt and pain of many of the characters. We were drawn in every step of the way. The book really brought to the forefront how decisions we make as children, sometimes shape the rest of our lives. The story line was interesting and full of surprises. We would recommend this book to anyone, man or female. Because we truly all have to sleep in the beds we make.

The book reinterates through tragadies and laughter that "Truly good friends are hard to find, difficult to leave and impossible to forget! - Unknown

Review: I have to agree with the reviewer before me. I read this book when it came out a couple of years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. I have been anxious for a sequel or another novel by these authors. I highly recommend this book if you haven't read it already.

Summary: Great Read
Review: I read this book a few years back and I found this book to be very good, and I just wanted to say so. I was impressed that two good friends could write such a good book. It was as though they became one. Now, I'm wondering when and if they will do this again. I sure hope so. This was just a great book.

Summary: My Best Friend and Sister
Review: If you've ever had a "best friend", and that relationship was ever in trouble, you MUST read this book. Gayle and Patricia go through some trials and tribulations that life puts upon us but its wonderful reading how each one deals with their own troubles yet holding on to the memory of the other. One tragic accident sends their lives into turmoil and what emerges is a secret and friendship that will last for decades.

Gayle is the pretty one with two loving parents and a good stable home. She's spoiled rotten and has hair that every black girl wants---long and manageble. She manages to bribe her parents to take in/adopt Patricia, her best friend, after a tragic accident that sends Patricia to a foster home. Gayle willingly shares everything with Patricia and that best friend relationship immediately turns into sisterhood.

Gayle ends up falling for Marcus, another member who is also keeping the secret. For many years they date but one day it's all over and Gayle realizes she must move on, that Marcus wasn't the man for her after all. She meets and falls in love with Ramsey, a rich sweet talker who sweeps her off her feet instantly and changes her life forever.

Patricia is the smart one. Trying to earn her keep she makes her grades the number one goal in life so that one day she will be somebody AND respected.

Although she knows Joe and Loretta aren't her parents, she comes to love them as if they were. She gets a scholarship that sends her through college and once she graduates, she sets out to live her life as she see's fit. She has a body that is to die for and men have no problem letting her know it, as she soars to the top of her business in no time and makes everyone proud of her.

As adults Patricia and Gayle have a terrible fight which is left unresolved for many years keeping them out of touch and out of each others lives for years. As the years go by each woman is faced with different crisis and each finds themselves in need of the other.

This is one of those "I can't put it down books", and as I got closer to the end I was saddened because I was almost through with it. I want my best friend to read this book, hoping it will pull us closer together, knowing that we are not alone in our squabbles and disagreements.

This book is for everyone, sisters and bestfriends. Right on ladies, right on! .

Summary: THIS IS A MUST READ
Review: I bought this book three years ago and I have probably read it ten times. This is one of the best books I have read so far. It talks about real life situations. It was so real to me that I was giving the characters some advice. You have to read this book. Good job ladies. I would like to see a continuation of the story.

Summary: Awesome-Remeber this bed could be yours!
Review: This is a must read! It took awhile for me to start but once I did I couldn't put the book down. Friendship is something that no one should ever take for granted (that is true friendship)After I finished reading I just had to call my best friend and tell her no matter what avenues we travel I'm only a phone call away. Cherish your true friends and never let pettiness block your blessings.
