Summary: Page Turner
Review: I just finished the novel and found it a great read. Minimal vulgarity which to me is PLUS! Gayle and Pat remind me of many friendships which have been tried by fire. The novel also reinforces the importance of family & just what a family is...those that love you. I am anxiously waiting to read the next work by these authors.

Summary: Best Friends Triumph
Review: When I see two authors' names on a book, it is usually on a topic like politics, economics, sociology .... non-fiction.

This is a NOVEL ... by and about best friends. It is a funny, sad, sometimes suspenseful story about friendship between two girls. The bond carries them through a tragic childhood accident and leads them through several life-changing revelations as they grow into adulthood.

The main characters are vastly different yet you may find a little of yourself in both.

Review: This is a wonderful book, I found it to be one of the best books that I have read in long time. "Tryin'" has all a good book needs, love, mystery, and reality. Gayle is you typical fantasy chaser, while Pat is driven to prove herself and her worth to the world, and Marcus is the kind of guy we all want to marry. I was ingrossed by this great read. THIS WAS A GREAT BIRTHDAY GIFT! Keep up the good work ladies.

Summary: Nice Light Read
Review: This book is what I call a bathtub book. Not to say that it isn't interesting--but it lacks depth. Still, it entertains and I couldn't help but be endeared by the friendship that is the center of it. It isn't cerebral, and it won't change your life, but you will read it probably in a day.
