Review: I read this book over a year ago, and all I can say is, "Wow!" A friendship like Pat and Gayle's no one can come between. This is a must read, especially to those who are very close to their sisters as well as friends. I really enjoyed Pat's character. Her drive, her motivation, and her spirit. Gayle was a spoiled brat, and even though I hated to see her go through what she went through, it was good for her, because she learned from it and it made her a better person. I hope these authors do a sequel, because I would really like to know how Pat, Marcus and Gayle are all doing.

Summary: Fast paced----A real page turner
Review: Enjoyable book about three childhood friends and the tragedy that affected all of their lives. Pat is motivated to succeed based on parental neglect and awareness of Gayle (Miss Thang)"picture perfect" life. Marcus has to become that Pro athelete to "make up" for the loss of his brother. We all knew Gayle had a "long row to hoe", she was so spoiled and selfish. ITCOMS liked the way all the characters showed personal growth. Because we have all made bad choices and we can get a little too full of ourselves sometimes. It was an easy read. We did recommend this book to another book reading club.

Review: I thoroughly enjoyed this book not only did I think about the characters day in and day out, but I felt for them like they were my oldest and dearest friends. I wanted more of them when the book ended. I missed these people, not knowing what was going on in their lives. The book was so exciting that I got on a train one day after leaving work, opened up the book to read, and completely missed my stop b/c it was so engrossing. These two authors are truly gifted, and I can't wait for the next one from this dynamic duo. A definite must read!

Review: I found it hard to put this book down for one minute. The story line held you like a magnet to every word on every page. Two sisters could not have been closer or gone through as much as these life long friends. Great book, can't wait for the next one.

Review: I read this book in 1998. Let's just say I read none better. I read it in two days and would have done it in one if I did not have to feed my kids (just kidding). The book was amusing and I invisioned the characters as if I knew them personally. I will be the first in line when this duo brings it back.

Review: A very engaging novel with an unpredictable plot and very believeable characters. Not cluttered by profanity or explicit sex and still an interesting read. The twists were unpredictable but flowed smoothly and effortlessly. I can't wait to see the movie.
