Summary: An amazing story
Review: I was reading this book during my breaks at work and as I got close to the end I had to put it down before I wept. This book made me realize how precious "happily ever after" can be, no matter how much time we have with the person we love.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: 12-kleenex ending
Review: I haven't read a book in a long time, probably since Love Story, that made me cry this hard at the end. I agree with one critic who said the ending was predictable, but I never gave up hope for Sarah and the ending was written so beautifully heartwrenching. It was my first Luanne Rice novel, and I'm on line to find another.

Summary: Wonderful!
Review: I have never cried while reading a book until I read this one. By the end, I was sobbing. This was a wondeful story about a strong woman who overcomes a battle only to have to fight one again. This is a wonderful story!

Summary: I Loved this Book!
Review: Rarely does a book have an impact on how you live your life... but this one has made me appreciate my blessings. I really cared about all of the characters in this story. This story is terrific.

Summary: If every book could be this good, I'd never stop reading!
Review: How did I miss this book in hardcover? It's exactly the kind of story I love--full of emotion, beautifully but simply written, totally romantic, and so TRUE in feeling that every single character comes fully alive. This isn't a pretentious story and, yes, it's a tearjerker but of the best possible sort. I felt so good when I finished reading it--despite the fact that I wished it would never end. So, for anyone who loves good women's fiction, who loves a good love story, who loves to read about families and their complex relationships, this is the PERFECT choice. I can't wait to read more by this author.

Summary: simplistic, unimpressive
Review: I wanted a quick read for a plane trip home--but I didn't want to have to turn my brain off. Simple plot, silly characters. I found the drop-dead ending to be thoroughly predictable. I didn't cry. I actually laughed. Really silly stuff.

Summary: Magical and captivating.
Review: This book left me breathless and begging for more. I was so intrigued by Sarah's story, her courage, and the love that she was able to share with Will in such a short time. Luanne Rice was able to capture my heart with her beautiful writing. Its fast becoming one of my all time favorites. =)

Summary: Pulls at your heart strings
Review: I couldn't put this book down, once into it. The emotions it stirred up were shattering; happiness, sorrow and love. I could not stop crying near the end of the book. A good read!

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: A simply great romance with interesting, human characters...
Review: My first reading by this author has wetted my appetite for more. This novel has romance and suspense woven into interesting settings and likeable characters. My only disappointment was the sappy ending.

Summary: I loved this book!!!
Review: I loved this book so much, I have been telling everyone get your tea, favorite blanket, and a box of kleenex. I could not put the book down, or the kleenex for that matter. Sarah Talbot is a real hero, and her love is tender and real. I felt so much love in this book, love that I knew, and love that I have never been able to feel until this book. Luanne Rice understands love and the difficulties it brings. She also understands teen agers and there struggle to love and be loved. I finished this book feeling better about having loved, and also for knowing that it isn't always easy to stand still and be loved. I can't wait for her next book
