Summary: Excellent details and suspense!!
Review: A great story, plus the details of the areas around the Washington area, down to the street names were right on!! Makes it more enjoyable when an author knows his way around a metropolitan area such as D.C.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great - very thrilling
Review: A military who-done-it. Very suspenseful - hard to put down. Plan on reading it in the next few days, or wait until you have the time to read it. You will not want to put it down. Looking forward to more books from Davis.

Summary: Decent military whodunnit...
Review: Airplane-level reading. Reasonably good concept, though ultimately the suspense was lacking

Summary: AN AWESOME ATTENTION GRABBER
Review: ALthough Patrick A. Davis is my uncle, I do not read his books purely for that reason but because they are some of the most exciting books out there to read in my opinion. In this book, The General, Patrick's sense of the government, and his great knowledge helped him to write a very gripping book. There is homicide after homicide, and an exciting twist that pretty basically no one saw coming! It grabs your attention and you cannot turn away from it. You are stuck doing guesswork, trying to fit all of the puzzle pieces together to form an overview of the story, and also to try and figure out who is behind the vengefull, meaningless murders. You will never know unless you read the book just how great it is and I would definitly reccomend this wonderful pageturner to anyone who has had a military experience, who is into homicides, crime scene investigations, and putting the puzzle pieces of a book together. If you have read/ would like to read any of W.E.B. Griffin's books, I also highly reccomend this book to you, and if you do not like it, I guarantee it will not be bacause of the writing ability of the author but merely because you did not WANT to like it!

Summary: An Action Packed Thriller that you won't put down!
Review: Author Patrick Davis delivers an action packed thriller based in Washington DC that fully engages military intelligence, the government, and the Washington DC police department in a "who done it"mystery. His indepth knowledge of the military, the Pentagon, and information systems adds much to this action filled story. This book made my commute to NYC each morning and evening bearable. I look forward to his next novel!

Summary: Best book I've read for a long time!!
Review: Excellent storyline, straight up fact based fiction. I liked it a lot! Extremely hard to put down. Still makes you think what all went on in the Vietnam War. Highly recommended if you like conspiracy thrillers.

Summary: Great first book by author
Review: I couldn't put the book down. It was wonderful. I'm in the Air Force and everything he states is right on the money. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a good work of fiction. I hope he continues writing for a long time.

Summary: Good book, but lacks in military accuracy
Review: I enjoyed reading this book, and I didn't figure out "whodunit" until near the end of the book. All-in-all, it was a good read and is proboably quite enjoyable for non-military readers. However, being a 13 year enlisted AF member, I was constantly bothered by the inaccurate military language, etc. I was especially annoyed every time the Chief Master Sergeant Jones character was addressed as "Sergeant". Anyone who has been in the Air Force for any amount of time at all knows that the proper address for a Chief Master Sergeant is "Chief".

Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Possibly the worst piece of fiction written in a long time
Review: I had hoped to find Mr. Davis' book interesting and suspenseful. Instead I had "the mystery" figured out before the first 50 pages. The absence of knowledge about the Air Force, computer systems, AFOSI and other military practices, procedures and techniques leads me to believe Mr. Davis gets what he knows from television and the movies. Please do yourself a favor and stick to Dale Brown or W.E.B. Griffin and let us hope Mr. Davis finds a new genre upon which to demonstrate his lack of talent.
