Rating: Summary: A fun romp through time. Review: This is not a serious time travel novel, but it is amusing. Its very similar to: "The Ship That Sailed The Time Stream" by G.C. Edmondson and reminiscent of Keith Laumer's, "The Great Time Machine Hoax." They just don't write science fiction like this anymore. I thoroughly enjoyed it, though I gained no new insights.
Rating: Summary: A Very Strange Trip is Quick and Entertaining Review: Well, I bought A Very Strange Trip last night, and finished it today around 3 in the afternoon. It's a quick read, and very entertaining. Wolverton does a great job keeping you wondering what is going to happen next. This novel is based on a screenplay written by L. Ron Hubbard. If you're looking for entertainment, but don't want to spend 2 weeks waiting to find out what happens, this book is for you. I really enjoyed it.
