Rating: 1 stars
Summary: A shameless tear jerker...
Review: The author pulled out all the stops to make readers pull out their kleenex. The mom is exemplary, the dad is perfect, the girlfriend is so Barbie-like. (By the way, how does one "pick up an Armani habit"?) Even while up to their antics, the children are lovable. The plot is all too predictable; stereotypes and clichés abound. By comparison, the Brady Bunch seem much more real to life.

Summary: GREATEST BOOK EVER
Review: THIS IS THE BEST BOOK, I HAVE NEVER CRIED OVER ONE BOOK SO MUCH IN MY LIFE. IF YOU LIKE SENTAMENTAL STUFF YOU WILL LOVE THIS.

Summary: the movie is great though the book is even better
Review: Unlike my normal practice, I watched the movie before reading the book because everyone here claims that it's excellent.

After reading it, I've nothing to say but the same comments as the others. It's just a pity that I didn't cry as i've already known the plot.

This is a great book but it's a bit too short. Also, I can't help but think that the cancer-plot is a little silly. It would be even more interesting if none has to die while becoming friends all the same. In that way, the story would be even more true-to-life.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: I think this book was better than the movie.
Review: You can feel more when reading the book. I read the book before I went to the movieand realized that some parts were left out. If you choose to read this book keep a box of tissues nearby.
