Summary: Beware!
Review: What a provocative story! If the right wing religious folks are taking offense, it's no wonder. Frankly, I've been waiting my whole life to see their own weapons (religious mind control tactics) turned against them. So be afraid, be very afraid. And for everyone else, this is a page turning suspense thriller, thought provoking, intelligent and scripturally faithful. Read it and you'll understand why these people feel threatened.

Summary: Disappoining
Review: I was very disappointed in this story. The plot is just too far fetched and the biblical basis for it is nonexistent. The messiah, some kind of messed up medical experiment, doesn't have any appeal at all. I can see how religious folks could be offended, but the only thing that offended me was throwing money away on this. For great religious iconoclasm, read James Morrow. Now, he is worth one's time and money.

Summary: Holy Smoke!
Review: This is a pretty average thriller. I kept hoping the Pope would slap some sense into this misguided "savior." Instead, the Pope loses on a technicality! Oops! Wrong year it seems. I agree that Easterman is the master of this religious thriller genre. This story will have most readers cheering for the anti- christ. I hope when Christ returns He will know a little more about the Bible than the airhead depicted in this book.

Summary: A controversial book
Review: If you haven't heard, there is a campaign by the American Catholic League and other religious groups to discredit this novel and to block the production of a major TV movie based on it. The book is neither shallow nor theologically inaccurate, as they are attempting to position it. The censorship is due to the fact that the book dares to confront some very sensitive, controversial issues organized religions want to keep in the closet. (They've called the novel "dangerous.") What is it about this book they don't want you to know? Yes, the Inquisition is still alive and well--in America!

Summary: Read Daniel Easterman
Review: New Age pop guru raised by scientists in an aquarium spouts pseudoreligious nonsense so shallow it's silly and saves humanity from Catholic Church! Promising thriller stumbles badly over faulty scriptural references and laughable Christ figure who demonizes organized religion and is so obnoxious one would prefer damnation to this sort of so-called redemption. Read any novel by DANIEL EASTERMAN for a far more credible, accurate, exciting, and satisfying religious thriller. This absurd trifle isn't close to being in the same league.

Summary: In a class absolutely by itself.
Review: I suspect Glenn Kleier must be a pen name for one off my other favorite authors. Perhaps James Morrow. (it has his religious style) or Marion Zimmmer Bradly. (It has her openess, depth, and beauty) Regardless, by far one of the most intriguing and thought provoking books I have ever read. I hope we hear much, much more from him.

Summary: I Rarely Finish A 500 Page Book in One Day
Review: Please get the word out to everyone to read this book. I haven't been so impacted by a book since the first Kryon book. I doubt it will be made into a movie because it would upset the Institution of Religion as we know it. Fantastic work for a first time author.

Summary: I could not put this book down.
Review: The Last Day really gets you thinking. I was very much impressed with the way the Pope and Catholicism was presented here (I am a non-practicing Catholic). I was left with a certain respect with the Pope's character even after the final outcome. I will certainly check out the next book from this author.

Summary: A Real Winner!
Review: This is one of the greatest books I have read in a long time. I am a real fan of Dean Koontz but I am afraid this one really gives him a run for his money. Just to echo some other comments: "Why isn't this book on the bestseller's list?" and "How does a person write something this good on their first book?" Hope Mr. Kleier has something new for us soon!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A MUST for readers of the suspense thriller genre!
Review: Terrific plot! Realistic dialogue! Believable characters! Suspense in EVERY chapter! I'm in awe that a first time writer could create this novel! If you like intricate plotting, this writer is for YOU! If you like suspense thrillers, you will hate to put this novel down just to eat and sleep!
