Review: Fredrick Douglas was literally one of the greatest minds of all time. As a slave he wanted to be a free man. He was illiterate and learned to be literate. In the end, he shared his thoughts and his life with us all so that all men could be free and have freedom not only the slave. The greatest lesson this man could teach anyone is that the key to freedom is through education and learning. Any form of slavery can be freedom if you simply learn and educate yourself. If you choose to be a slave to what you are a slave of then you are a slave. If you wish to be free,learn and be free.
