Review: I'm sure this set of tapes was very good in its day. The problem is that its day came along about 20 years ago. If you want to learn about the history of the genre and some of the basic subdivisions its contains...category, historical, regency, etc., then you might find this series to have some small value to you. But if you want to learn about the genre as it operates today, your money would be better spent on the new edition of "How to Write a Romance" by Kathryn Falk, publisher of Romantic Times Magazine. Ms. Wilbee needs to do a serious update of this series in order for it to be of any value today.
