Rating: Summary: Heartwarming for a Mom in progress. Review: As the mother of 2 young children and the caregiver of 3 others, I found this book to be heartwarming and inspirational. On those days that every mother dreads, a short story about a success was just what I needed. Other stories touched me deeply (keep your tissues close at hand). I loved reading the warm, fuzzy memories of the writers and reminiscing about my own childhood and my own Mom. Will my kids have memories like these? I can only hope.
Rating: Summary: My soul and heart was warmed by these inspirational stories Review: For years I have wanted to read the Chicken Soup series, but finances being limited, I had to wait until my mother bought me Chicken Soup for the Mothers Soul. What a tremendous delight.....I fully intended to only read a story a day so that it would last a while, but within 24 hours I had consumed every story in the book. My heart feels lighter and my thoughts began to look on my life as a mother and how my children percieve me. It makes you want to strive for the ultimate goal....to be a mother remembered with love and admiration. I am a fan of Chicken Soup for life.

Rating: Summary: Truly inspirational!! Review: I had heard about the books from a friend at work, and got three for Christmas (Woman's soul, Woman's soul II, and Mother's soul). I don't normally enjoy reading but could not put the books down, in a matter of a week, I read two of them. They are absolutely wonderful. The Chicken Soup for the Mother's soul, WOW, what a book! It's awesome, and the stories touch the heart. Some of them even bring tears to my eyes. I recommend these books to anyone and am forwarding the Mother's soul book onto my mother.
Rating: Summary: I cried like a baby. They are all highly inspirational. Review: I have all the books. Keep one in my car, one in my desk, one by the reclining chair. Whenever I feel down, I pick one up. They even inspired me to write a few short stories about loves ones who've affected my life. It was a great treasure for them to see my feelings in writing. In addition to the book, a box of tissues is a required side dish. I recommend them to all my friends and purchase them frequently as gifts.
Rating: Summary: I loved it!!! Review: I laughed and cried at the same time,"Chicken Soup F or The Mothers Soul" is wonderful. The stories touched me,I have 3 children and these stories gave me the extra boost I needed to give them the extra love they need each and every day. I really look forward to reading more "Chicken Soup For The soul"books.
Rating: Summary: A must read for all women Review: I received my first Chicken Soup book from my father six years back and since then there has been no stopping. I continue to be a voracious reader of these lovely series. I have recommended them to many of my friends too.Chicken Soup for the Mother's Soul is one book which I feel all women must read irrespective of whether they have arrived at the threshold of motherhood or not. Heart-warming stories, personal experiences, and moving tales comprise this book, which will on more than one occassion make you grab a tissue and wipe your moist eyes. The illustrations in this book are hilarious too. As you read this book, you shall reflect upon the happiness and pain of your own relationship with your mother. One of the finest and sweetest books you can gift to your near and dear ones. They will always thank you for this book. I shall take the liberty of quoting one of the proverbs in this book. "God cannot be everywhere so He made mothers." There...I rest my case. Nothing further needs to be said in honor of this exquisite book.
Rating: Summary: Touching Review: I recently purchased this book and have only a few more pages to read...all the stories are very touching/only a mother can relate, I believe. The one story which really sticks in my mind is the one about "My trip to Holland"...for anyone who has been blessed with a healthy child should read this story/it will make you look at your child and be thankful and it should help you look inside yourself and realize that patience for a normal child does not compare to the patience needed for a child with a disability.I think of that everytime I become upset or inpatient with my child/I realize how lucky we all are.
