Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF THEY BEAMED YOU UP? Review: I've read several of the reviews here and some people need to lighten up! This book is Great! It IS well written because it holds your interest and you can finish it in one sitting. His description of his first few moments aboard the ship are sublime in their ordinary surreality. I could imagine myself in his shoes (slippers?) as he walked along the corridors behind the E.T.'s and noted NOT how did they circumnavigate the universe or what was the source of their propulsion system, but rather how their legs moved in relation to their upper body so that they seemed to glide instead of stepping forward. His style is simple, wry and forthright. He offers plausible explanations on the section of Heaven and the 12 Gates of Pearl. And, wow, what I wouldn't give to view the cosmos from the giant, transparent observation bubble that overlooked the ship. He describes the aftermath of this event in his Epilouge; the reactions of his wife, his colleagues, his religious beliefs and even his doubts as to whether the incident was real or imagined. Plus, he does reveal somewhat of a timeline of events to come. Please understand, he's a minor player in this endeavor. The "Ambassadors" are the ones to watch for and since I live in Arizona, the next few years may prove to be quite interesting. I highly recommend this book and if you get the chance, listen to an interview with him. He was so engaging and amusing in the telling of this incredible story! That's what made me buy the book in the first place.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Thought Provoking Reading Review: I just finished this book recently and found it very interesting. I couldnt put it down and read it in about 2 hours. But, there is one thing that bothers me. His dates towards the end of the book talk about events to occur in 2003. ..i.e mainly that more famous people will come out of the closet with their abduction story. Its late Agust 2003 and I havent heard anything from any famous person. Is the story credible? WHo knows for sure. I do believe there has been contact made b/w human beings and other intelligent being from other planets, and that there are secret agencies working with them on some projects for the benfit of mankind. Would it be so odd to think that there is someone out there in the universe that apprciates our uniqueness and wants to help us avoid the destructive path we are on?! There have been and still are massive coverups over many years by the government/military and so called ultra sceret organizations. There are more and more ex-military folks coming forward with undisclosed information. Court documents/cases dont lie...Why the coverups? Probably becuase the government doesnt trust the average person to be able to sanely handle such information without massive fear and panic... something the government themselves is so good at invoking in the public. Thats how they get away with everything... Instill enough fear and people will allow you to take control. None of us will ever know for sure whats out there until it actually happens. Its a huge wide world/universe out there and our planet earth is such a tiny part of it. Think of it this way, every new technological or scientific advance was at one time thought of as impossible or crazy... Maybe this "open-contact" will be the next new thing for us to swallow!
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: The Mainstream Meets The Messengers Of Deception Review: This book evokes a lot of the contradictory, even nonsensical, "revelations" that our Space Brothers bestow on contactees, as so ably chronicled by authors like Keel and Vallee. To cite just one example, Krapf's space honey "Gina" tells him that his sizzling steak is just so much recycled tofu, because the Verdants "don't kill animals." With so many laser cored cattle rectums missng out there in Colorado, one is left wondering just how many alien organizations are out there, besides the Intergalactic Federation. It is interesting that this factoid echoes some of those involved in remote viewing sessions involving the alien "grays" and their involvement with an organization similarly named. Another interesting parallel is the development of the abduction of the rich and famous, similar to that reported by Budd Hopkins in "Witnessed." Naturally, no names are ever disclosed. My favorite part of this book is when Gina doffs her space robe and asks "do you want to do it?" At least something here lives up to previously reported alien contact.
Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Quick read, keeping your attention. Review: I am not one to read books on alien abuction. I do not discount that UFO's and aliens exist in the Universe. The reason I chose to read The Contact Has Begun, was mainly because Hay House was the publisher. I have been an avid fan of Louise Hay, and seeing her as a credible person, I did not think she would go ahead and publish such a book, unless she thoroughly believed in the authors accounts. It is a major shift for Hay House Publishing to promote UFO books. I found this book a very easy read, and did not want to put it down. However, I also was left with a less-than-satisfied feeling from it. There were too many vague approaches to questions. It's as though the author just wanted to tempt our tastebuds, but provided no meal. If this book is based on a true account of the authors' experiences with Alien Encounters, then I would have hoped he would have produced more facts or better descriptions of future events that he touches on in the book. The only disturbing parts seemed to be with the evolutionary loss of our 'humaness' that is to be treasured. I would hope that the aliens goal is not to make us just like them. For instance, having sex with anyone and everyone, not having long-term-committed mates is to loose something precious, that the aliens have evidently decided is not beneficial to their society. I would hope that Mr. Krapf would write a second book including more facts and accounts of what happened. If one is going to suggest that the future is going to change dramatically, then one also has to have enough faith in the human society of Earth that we can 'take it'. Treating the poplulation like a bunch of blithering idiots that will go beserk if we are given 'key information' about life changing events, is disrepsectful. It's liken to not telling Aunt Mary that Uncle John has died, because they don't want her to get upset. Do not usurp someone by making life changing decisions for them. That is manipulation and shows no respect for the individual to grow and cope! with such information. That is what I found troublesome about this book. All the secrecy involved in withholding information. Its more about power and control than the well-being of people, or at least that is how I saw this book, on some level. The book is worth reading, but still sounds more like another hollow science-fiction novel.
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: Even if true, (and a big IF) it could have been told better. Review: In the past five years I must have read 50 books on aliens, abductions, crop circles, etc. While not an expert, I do feel that my in-depth reading has given me the ability to separate the good from the bad, and this I would have to say is bad. I agree with the reviewer above regarding birth rates, and furthermore think that the whole book is undercut even more by the last section which states that this alien race has found the exact location of Heaven in space! If they are that advanced, why do they need this big orchestrated arrival plan? Why not just zap us all into a better more spiritual consciousness? And why now? Why not before W.W.II or Vietnam? Why not before the pandemic of AIDS? (This particularly since they are supposed to be a sexually liberated species). The fact that Krapf claims to have had total recall for the telling of this book makes me think they must not have said much if this is all he could remember to write.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: SPRING 2002 IS ALMOST HERE----GOT THE TAR & FEATHERS READY? Review: I've been into the study of UFOs and ets since the early 70s. Have several dozen books on the subject. Been to 3 IUFOC conventions. But this is a really hard story to swallow. These Verdants of course, will change their mind and not make contact, probably because of 9-11. In several places Krapf tells how the Verdants are going to give us all this technology. Isn't that unnecessay influencing our natural evolution? I find it extremely hard to believe that any intelligent mobile life form could ever live 20,000 years. No soul would ever want to stay in the same body for that long a period of time. Very fishy that Krapf's wife won't verify any of the story. COL. CORSO, someone I do believe, once said that they didn't have to put out any disinformation, that they would "do it to themselves". This is unfortunate because the mainstream media is never going to take the subject serious, at least in this country, as long as we keep doing it to ourselves. A true story? I think not.

Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Well, maybe Review: As an abduction story, I found this book to be as credible as most I have read. There were a few things that I found a little difficult such as "The location of Heaven" and the alien, Gina, as a seductress. Ok, every book needs a little sex in it. If the author had left it as a straightforward abduction story, it would have worked fine but where he lost me was when he began listing the events to come. I have read dozens of books and articles from Nostradamus to Cayce to Ruth Montgomery where something was supposed to happen and didn't only to be told later that everything has been delayed or postponed. For literally decades, I have been waiting for the "Earth Changes" that were supposed to happen by the year 2000. I'm here to report that at 12:01 A.M. on January 1, 2000, I was happily drinking champagne, making out with my wife and carrying on as if nothing had happened. The word is, I've learned, that its going to happen but has been delayed for the moment. So, with this in mind I am betting my next three paychecks that come 12:01 January 1, 2005, I will be drinking champagne, making out with my wife and otherwise carrying on as if there were no 600 mile green patch in the southwest of United States or a City named "Genesis" and later discover that these "events" have been conviently delayed. I wish Mr. Krapf well and hope he makes a bundle.

Review: I am totally convinced that Mr.K has told the absolute truth. I feel this so strongly I have shared the book with all my friends and family. I am waiting to get the second book, and will read it carefully, once I have it. I personally have seen some of the phenomena, and have no doubts about the reality of it all.READ THIS BOOK ! IT IS FOR ALL OF US ! djames
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: A regrettable counterfeit. Review: These beings named after a French version of "Greenish" knows everything about humans thoughts (59) except the author sexual life (102) and lack of conviction in God (124)! Will 600 square mile of Arizona desert (118) be converted into a green grassland overnight in demonstration of superior power? What about the crop circles? Do they demonstrate anything the grassland would do any better. Eight hundred world leaders have been taken aboard their ships and none of them had a remembrance of this event, only the author remembers his own and admits that it could be only that. The selected human leaders stand ready to help although we have been previously informed that people with impeccable credentials are not abducted for fear that the populace may believe their experiences, should they talk. There is a typical flavor of disinformation about the story: Multiple abduction stories are copycat. The UFO phenomenon is kept secret to avoid a panic "Orson Wells" style. No doubt that our government is embarassed to have to tell the world that their predecessors have been lying for half a century and they are scared that once the genie gets out of the bottle, the rascals are going to be thrown out. A book such as this one may alert some people of what is going on in our skies while at the same time offering a story that can be easily rejected as crap, just in case the public buys-in with too much fervor. This regurgitation of key information provided in many other books offered on this site is detrimental to the enhancement of truth. Author lost me when a lady alien disrobed before him and asked him if he wanted a piece of it (15).
