Rating: Summary: Good Read Review: Because I read to fall asleep at night I thought it might take a while to get through this book. For me that is a good thing. I wouldn't have to go find someone else to get to know so soon. Unfortunately, neither of those things worked out for me. Picked it up and started to read it. By two nights later, I was glad to finish it finally because I was way behind on sleep and annoyed that there wasn't another Tuck Matson story to pick in its place.Ok, so now I'm waiting for the next one......Helloooooo, where are you Mr. Matson?
Rating: Summary: A reading escape Review: I want a novel that is well written. A book with story, plot, and characters that live and breathe. A book that for a few hours I can relax, lose myself, kick-back, and enjoy reading. Quiet Desperation is such a book and, for me, is the reason I love to read. I look forward to more advertures from Tuck Matson and more books from Mr. Smeraglia.

Rating: Summary: It has it all. Review: Rene' Smeraglia's new mystery series has it all; gritty dialogue, a cleverly twisted plot, and a tough, angst-ridden hero, Tuck Matson, who is reminiscent of a SoCal version of Travis McGee.
