Rating: Summary: Read only after you saw the movie Review: This book is a faithful companion to the movie, and reads rather well, especially after having seen the movie twice. Read this book only after you saw the movie. I cannot stress that point enough!
Rating: Summary: A well-written companion to the movie Review: This book truly captures the movies memorizing and emotional tale in entirety. The words come flying of the page and the events are taking place all around you. The author has completely done his job of making a novel based on a screen play that has substance. He should be commended.

Rating: Summary: One of the best books and one of the best movies EVER! Review: This book, and the movie made from the book, are the perfect companions for the Fourth of July. Reliving the early struggles and battles our forefathers had to go through to give us this marvelous homeland. It is such a pity that we so often take this great freedom for granted! After you read this book you will not be able to take the USA for granted. You will want to fly your American flag at every chance. You feel such kinship to all the characters in "The Patriot" especially if you have ancestors on all sides. The story of "The Patriot" is our American history in action, and they did a great job recreating the story from the book, in the movie of the same name. Read the book, see the movie, and keep both in mind as you cast your ballot in November! I am a twelfth cousin of President George Washington and the more I read about America in the 1700's the more I appreciate what he and his fellow countrymen did for all of us. God Bless America!
Rating: Summary: A Great Companion Novel To An Epic Masterpiece Review: This is a well-written novel. It has everything you'd like to read in a novel: action, suspense, romance, and comedy. It sticks close to the movie, adding only little differences and a little more bad language (which it could have done without). This and "Saving Private Ryan" are the best war novels ever written.
