Review: After you read Captain Nemo or listen to the audiobook you will feel energized and longing for the sea. I read the Captain Nemo novel last year when I was in Florida and bought the audiobook for my son when he saw it at the book store. This breathtaking story of a man who has achieved so much wealth and power to rule the oceans is brilliant. I was surprised my son and daughter chose Captain Nemo over Goosebumps and Harry Potter. This story of sea creatures with ESP and super submarines is great for young people. We hope there will be a sequel or better yet, a movie.

Review: My friend bought the Captain Nemo book and was telling me about it, so I bought a copy of the audiobook (cause I travel a lot and listen to most of the best selling audiobooks). I must admit, this Captain Nemo story is great. The whole idea of this genius, submarine commander in the future is very unique. One of the my favorite scenes is when Captain Nemo, Titus and Jackie are using the top of the Nautilus as a driving range in the Carribean Sea. That image just shows how bold and arrogant Captain Nemo and his crew were. A lot of my friends at NYU loved this whole Captain Nemo idea. We hope the author has a sequel. We want to know what happens with Captain Ari, Sonja and Tiger.

Review: Jules Verne would be proud of this magical sequel to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Mysterious Island. I loved the way the author, Xavier Carbajal, went deeper into the mind and soul of the legendary genius who commands the seas. As I listened more and more, I was drawn further into the oceans and felt like I was one of Captain Nemo's crew. I also loved the music and the sound effects. Encore! Encore!

Review: Wow! Where did this Captain Nemo story come from? This is one of the smartest, science fiction adventures I've read and heard in a longtime. The way the prose of the surrealistic, underwater world of Captain Nemo and his adventure pull you into this story is fantastic. The realistic submarines and sea creatures is like Star Wars underneath the oceans. The characters like Jackie Fife, Uriah, Ari, Captain Riley and Captain Nemo played off each other and became very real. I highly recommend this Captain Nemo novel by Xavier Joseph Carbajal and the audiobook. My friends and I look forward to the sequel.

Review: Captain Nemo is one of the most exciting science fiction novels I have ever read. I had to do a school report on 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Mysterious Island. In those novels I felt Jules Verne could have gone deeper into the mind of the recluse, genius, scientist. Then, I found the Captain Nemo novel by Xavier Joseph Carbajal and I thought 'WOW'! This guy is Jules Verne reincarnated. The whole idea of Jules Vernes's character finally achieving immortality and peace, now being challenged by the very things that kept him alive so long, was a remarkable work of genius. Captain Nemo, with its super 21st Century submarines and telepathic sea creatures, is played out with exceptional style. I've noticed from other reviews about this Captain Nemo novel and audiobook, people from around the country and the world are fascinated by this innovative science fiction adventure. My book club and friends at school do hope this author takes us further with more of his Captain Nemo. Like Captain Nemo said to Captain 'Don Quixote' Riley -"The adventure has just begun!"

Review: This is a very spirtual audiobook. The story was very sincere with vivid descriptions of Captain Nemo and his underwater empire. It was also great how this story with its sea creatures and submarines, stuck to true sciences.This ones up there with Star Wars and Star Trek. Good work!!

Review: My freinds and family loved Captain Nemo. All of us travel a lot so we take audiobooks with us to relax on plane trips when we go away to conventions. About a dozen of us loved your Captain Nemo. The story was intriguing, fun and very mysterious. We all got a chuckle out of the part where Nemo and his crew were driving golf balls off the deck of the Nautilus. That seen was not only hilarious, it also showed the arrogance of Captain Nemos. This audiobook not only combines a classic style of Jules Verne or H.G.Wells for older listeners, it also makes it fun for younger listeners-my two teenage nephews loved the audiobook and hope someone makes a movie from Captain Nemo.

Review: I usually don't read or listen to my husbands science fiction stuff, but I was very impressed at how educational and fun this Captain Nemo audiobook was. We have a teenage son and daughter, and they are at that age where we try to exchange books and books on tape with each other.They loved Captain Nemo. They said the reader made this science fiction story of the future sound real and fun. When I listened to this tape I also liked how the story of Captain Nemo made him and his crew sound so fun and likeable. My husband also thought the use of math and science to describe the oceans and submarines was a great way to teach young people about the oceans and other countries. We really think this author is on to something great. We all agree, Captain Nemo is as good as Star Wars or Star Trek.
