Summary: Captain Nemo is one of the best storys ever!
Review: My friends and I loved the Captain Nemo novel and the Captain Nemo audiobook. Some of us had to start reading classic books last semester and alot of the boys in my class picked 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. It seemed kind of boring until we found this new Captain Nemo novel on the internet. A bunch of us think this story with giant sea creatures and powerful submarines is the 'cats meow'. (I have four cats). We like Star Wars and other books/movies/audiotapes that include a variety of characters. My girlfriends and I could really identify with Sonja, Captain Nemo's daughter. It was so great how she was so smart and mature and ran the Nautilus. Sonja as a scientist and part of Captain Nemo's crew was an important part of this story. My mom and dad let my sister and I pilot our boat (sometimes) and we always think that Sonja is out there in the Nautilus or the Avenger or the Trinity. We hope you come up with a picture book for Captain Nemo or they make a movie. We imagine Sonja to be both pretty and smart.

Review: When a friend of mine from Dublin, Ireland told me about this Captain Nemo novel and audiobook I thought it was going to be some comicbook super hero gimmick. It wasn't. I was very impressed an moved by this brilliant continuation of the Jules Verne classic. Here is the tale of a scientist who has the ability to save the world from itself and he chooses not to. Decades into the 21st Century, the oceans have fallen into anarchy and black market pirates. Even the United Nations has collapsed and rogue terrorism has spawned into the oceans. Uriah, Kronos and Elon. Three wonderful villains worthy to be almost Shakespearian in dimension. And, Captain Nemo and his delightful crew, Ari, Jackie and Captain Donald "Don Quixote" Riley. All the wonderful players in this classic tale of a man's redemption and his choice to rise from the oceans to fight and evil as well as his inner demons. I truly believe Mr. Xavier Joseph Carbajal is on his way to becoming one of the newsest, most exciting writers of our time. His Captain Nemo novel is a wonderful story written with poetic colors of underwater landscapes, sea creatures with remarkable qualities and a talent for making Captain Nemo seem like he is out there in the oceans right now. I hope to see more from this author. David.

Summary: Great science fiction for kids!!!
Review: I gave Captain Nemo five stars because of the strong moral to this story. I also liked the relationship between the sea creatures and Captain Nemo and his crew. I have the book and the audiobook and my friends and I are studying Jules Verne. We read 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Journey to the Center of the Earth. Captain Nemo is very loyal to the Jules Verne character and it has added a new set of wonderful scientific ideas to the storytelling world. I to am going to be a writer and I will start classes when I go to college.

Review: I grew up on Jules Verne, H.G.Wells, Bradbury, Frank Herbert and dozens of other classical science fiction writers, whos imaginations have given millions enjoyment with their works. I've loved many of these authors because of their use of science and adventure; taking us to far away places and powerful dream worlds. Captain Nemo does just that. Creating storms, making water, the ocean and the submarine technology, the spikes and the connection Captain Nemo has with Boondi, Beelzbub, Goliath, Hermes and the numberous sea creatures made for an exciting story. My two teenage sons also enjoyed this book. They said it was a fun challenge following the Trinity, the Avenger and the Nautilus on our globe, when the author gave longitudes, latitudes or mentioned places like the Puerto Rico Trench or The Romanche Abysasal Plains. I hope to see a sequel to this novel and to see this Captain Nemo's legacy continue. David

Review: A very wonderful world opens up to you as you read this story about a future with endangered oceans and a mad warrior. I like the mixture of characters on The Nautilus, The Trinity and The Avenger. This is a well thoughout continuation of the Jules Verne classic.

Review: My friends and I attended the MegaCon Comic Convention earlier this year and we exchanged books and comic books. I had to do a book report on Jules Verne and my teacher said I could use this book. I didn't read it all summer but I just finished it. Now I can see why all these other people are talking about this. Just the idea of Captain Nemo and his technology is great. I like the oceans a lot and now my dad is reading this Captain Nemo book. He also ordered the audiobook. What ever happened to the sequel?

Review: My friends and I are doing book reports on Jules Verne. This audiobook is very cool. It allows you to imagine what Captain Nemo and his crew live like in their ocean world. I have a friend who is from Europe and he likes the idea that there are crew members from this story from other parts of the world. We are also called nerds because we like science and math. Captain Nemo makes it all worth it when it comes to being different.

Review: I've loved Jules Verne novels since I was a kid. I am very glad to see Captain Nemo and the Nautilus rise again in a classy and smart way. There are so many super heroes with super powers, Nemo uses his brains. That's a true super hero! My 14 year old daughter also liked this book. She liked the idea of Sonja and other women in this story and how they contributed their knowledge of commanding the submarines. I also bought the audiobook. It is equally fantastic.

Review: This is a great continuation of the Jules Verne Captain Nemo legacy. The technology of Nemo's submarines and the knowledge he has gained is true to ocean physics and dynamics. The sea creatures and their mind bending powers in this action, adventure are unique and fantastic. My brother and I also like the mix of characters like Dr. Yang, Captain Riley, Sonja and especially Uriah and Kronos, and how they made this a great story.

Review: I am sixteen and I love science and goooood science fiction. We had to do some stories for english class and I chose Jules Verne and my teacher let me use this Captain Nemo novel. This Xavier Carbajal has a hot idea. So many super heroes and science fiction deals with super powers. Captain Nemo uses his instincts and his knowledge of the oceans. My friend got the audiotape and we listened to it in class! We all must say 'it's cool'! Even the girls in the class liked Sonja and some of the other women scientists and crew. We hope they make a movie or a tv show from this. It would be cooooooooooool, man!
