Review: This book was nothing like I expected. It is a collection of prayers DuBois had been writing his entire life. The astonishing fact about the collection is that he kept these works a secret until his final days in the United States. This is a mind motivating book and highly underrated. It can move the "souls of black folk." This thoughts have nothing to do with the fact he and I both graduated from Fisk University.
