Rating: Summary: Cute book! Review: This is a really fast and easy to read book, finished it just in a few hours. Although I'm way past the age group which the book targets, I just saw it at the library and picked it up. It's a cute, funny diary-like book about a girl and her trials as a young teen, in which she shares stories about school, peer pressure, kissing, friends and Sex Gods. Makes me look back at how carefree it was to be in high school. It's a really fun book to read to pass the time.Book has plenty of British humor and slang, so if you're not familiar with that, be prepared to interrupt your reading by sneaking a peek every now and then at the glossary in the back of the book.
Rating: Summary: A fantastically funny read, even for a 30-something. Review: I'm 31 years old, but I'm still a fan of well-written juvenile literature. As a parent, I like to see what's out there, but more than that I'm a fan of reading & good books are good books no matter for which age they are intended. This is a very good book. Likened to a Bridget Jones for the early-teen set, Georgia's diary is riot. The trials & tribulations she endures in the quest for boy-attention is hilarious & from what I remember completely true. She's a goofball though - someone I'd wish I hung out with back in high school. The passages about her family (especially her toddler-monster sister) had me laughing out loud. I recommend this book to everyone - kids & adults.
Rating: Summary: A hilarious Brit Comedy Review: crikey!! what a bloody brilliant comedy of a book that one was!! i've read all 4 of them and each one is funnier than the last. now mates, can you guess the answer to this riddle? which book has this quote: "Mr. Attwood! Rating: Summary: A Whole New Look On The Girls Of England Review: Reading other reviews here, it was hard not to write an opinion. I have read AT&FFS sooo many times now and as i was reading others reviews I realised how Gorgeia dosn't portray the typical english girl, you super snobby very polite has a very posh accent and goes to a school were the uni is a sad kilt thing that goes passed the knee. It portrays the english in there true lite, and that has now became my favorite part of it. Reading other reveiws you will reallise the book is extremly funny and i would recomemmed to everyone, just dont read it anywere you can make a fool of yourself!
Rating: Summary: From a Guy's Perspective Review: I will have to admit it, when I first saw this book on my friend's desk behind me I thought that it was just another plotless novel for overemotional girls, but I was soon proved wrong, for as I started to read it out of sheer curiosity I found it to be a quite enjoyable book, often sneaking it from my friend's desk to read it, and after my friend got the second novel in this wonderful series, it just snowballed from there. I am a guy and I still think that these are very interesting and really cool books, no matter who you are.
Rating: Summary: A Laugh Out Loud Comedy Review: Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging: Confessions of Georgia Nicolson by Louise Rennison was one of the best books I have ever read. This book is the diary of Georgia Nicolson, about her everyday life at her private school, weirdo family and strange friends. One day she meets Robbie, an 18 year old boy who is a member of the band. She calls him the Sex God and works to get his attention and the strange things she does will make you laugh over and over again. I liked this book becasue I related to it and it really captures what it is like to be a teenage girl.
Rating: Summary: This book was hilarious!!! Review: WOW!!! What a great book!!!! It's not THE BEST( I would recommend Harry Potter and Narnia for that!) but anyone who likes a good teenage girl book will looove it! Georgia is easy to relate to if you have no problems at all, but yet everything's a big deal!!!! It's set in England, so some of the words are pretty funny and bonus: there's a really cool brit lingo glossary in the back of the book... words like nuddypants! lol well you really must read this book cuz it is a enjoyable and great beach read!
Rating: Summary: Seriously HAllarious Review: This book is laugh out loud fun. Georgia goes through so many things that we just dont know what she will do next. This book shows so many great things that every girl wants to know about. Even if she falls in love with a rockstar goat farmer.
Rating: Summary: Lurvly Read! Review: This book is full of wisdomosity and funniness! A must read for any funny teenage girl!
