Summary: Laughed My Knickers Off!!
Review: I absolutely loved this book!! It is about a young, fourteen-year-old girl in the eighth grade by the name of Georgia Nicolson. She is British and lives in England. Basically, this book is a journal of Georgia's everyday life. But it isn't any ordinary journal that talks about boring every day stuff; this journal tells of her crazed family, her ridiculous and defective school teachers, as well as all of the crazy events that take place in her everyday life. The best part about her journal is that she has an absolutely hysterical way of explaining everything. A word of warning: this is not your typical teenager.
Georgia has a little three-year-old sister, Libby who likes to pee in hidden corners of Georgia's room and puts her dirty diapers under the covers at the bottom of Georgia's bed, secretly waiting to be found when Georgia gets into bed. Her half domestic tabby, half Scottish wildcat Angus, is the size of a small Labrador. No, he's not a huge cuddle toy; he is psychotic and relentlessly stalks the next door neighbor's poodle, driving the neighbors up the wall. Georgia used to walk him on a lead (a leather leash) but Angus ate it. As for Georgia's parents, her dad is a businessman who Georgia could care less for, mostly because she inherited his genes for a humongous schnoz. He is extremely uptight, strict, and short tempered. Just as Georgia's dad has a huge nose, her mother has gigantic "bosoomers". Georgia is terrified of developing to the size of her mother - she doesn't see how her mother can stand or even get through the door with those things! And she can't even imagine where her mom would be able to buy bras that actually fit.
Throughout the story Georgia talks about how ugly she is and how gigantic her nose is. It's actually very funny because she is desperately hoping she won't have to become a lesbian for the rest of her life; she thinks she won't ever have a boyfriend due to her ugliness. However, Georgia does have two or three boyfriends throughout this story, and she is the girlfriend at the end of the book of a so called sex god, who she absolutely obsessed over.
Georgia's descriptions were so vivid and full of her true feelings that I felt as if she was talking directly to me. Even her thoughts seemed to be spoken out loud. When Georgia was mad at Jas or her mother or father, I felt just as mad as she did because she was justified in being upset...okay, not always perfectly good justification, but you get my point.
The writing in this book flowed and made you want to read more and more and kept you on your toes, wondering what would happen next to Georgia. I like that it wasn't a typical mushy gushy story about teenage love and full of things that aren't likely to and don't typically happen. So if you are in the mood for a good laugh, pick this book up and I guarantee you'll have a great time - I sure did.

Summary: Makes You Laugh
Review: Georgia Nicolson is a teenager who lives in England. She goes to an all girl's school and is in love with Robbie, a major god (really hot guy). Her best friend, Jas, is dating Robbie's little brother. Georgia's dad has gone to kiwi-a-go-go land (New Zealand) and she is stuck at home with her little sister Libby, who is three years old, her mom, and her and her cat Angus "My mixed-breed cat," says Georgia "half domestic tabby, half Scottish wildcat. The size of a small Labrador, only mad." She only gets out of the house when she hangs out with her friends, Jas, Ellen, Jools, and Rosie. Not that she would want to go out since she shaved off her eyebrows, and as a result looks like an alien. When at school she has to deal with nauseating P. Green, her lesbian gym teacher, Ms. Stamp, and, worst of all, Slim, the headmistress.
I really like this book, and would highly recommend it mainly to teenage girls, but anyone could enjoy it. It makes you laugh till your belly's numb. Angus tells about romance and life from a teenage point of view. It's in diary format and is part of a series of four books, which all are good.

Summary: Don't You Wish You Were Me?
Review: A Review by Lynsie

Have you ever wanted to just crawl up and never show your face again? Well in this book, that's exactly how Georgia feels at times. She's not by herself in all of this; she does have her best friend Jas helping her out. Georgia is in love with a boy but doesn't know how to kiss. So, she gets a boy named Peter to help her out. Turns out, he wants a little bit more than just to teach her. Jas and Georgia get invited to their friend's Kate's party and that's the perfect moment to shine for the all in famous "Sex God."

I thought it was really funny how descriptive the book was! It makes it like really shocking and really funny all at the same time. I loved the part about how Georgia shaved her eyebrows off all the way! That was hilarious; in fact, I'm laughing about it right now. When Georgia and Jas got invited to Kate's party, which was funny because Jas loved it and Georgia was scared because she couldn't kiss. When Peter offered to teach her, I was really shocked and I thought that was a little bit too forward. Again, this is a 14 year olds life though. I love Angus! He is so cute sounding. The way Georgia's family treats him is funny. They really treat him like a part of the family.

I personally loved this book and will continue to finish out the series. I would recommend this book to people who like to read comedy books. It tells you what it's like to live as a young woman in these 365 days of

Summary: New Zealand!
Review: A Review by Kayla

Georgia's father has dropped the "bombshell" today that they may be moving to New Zealand! Georgia's father, who she calls Vati, is going on a trip there to see if he likes it. Then if he likes it, the whole family will move to Wangamata, New Zealand. Of course Georgia doesn't want to leave all her friends. She's lived here her whole life. Does the family end up moving to Wangamata? How will she handle it?

I really liked the book because I could relate to a lot of the situations Georgia was faced with. She's a real teen dealing with real issues. Some issues she dealt with throughout the book that most girls our age deal with also were first boyfriends, first kiss, what outfits to wear , problems with her best friends, and also her parents. The pace of the book was pretty steady for me. It wasn't too fast or too slow. Also I thought the language was neat. The author used English slang words. If there was a word that I didn't understand, it was most likely in Georgia's dictionary in the back of the book.

I would recommend this book to people who like "real" stories and love comedy. This book is now the best book I've ever read. Sometimes, I couldn't put the book down. The book is easy to follow.

Summary: Sorely disappointed...
Review: I picked up this book on the repeated recommendation of a friend. It was a fast read, a few hours on a lazy Saturday. After so many good reviews, I expected a lot more than what was delivered.

First, I found the book only mildly amusing. I think I chuckled out loud about two times or so. The best parts, of course, came from Angus's hearing his various "calls of the wild."

The main thing this book lacked was heart. All the shallowness and immaturity of Georgia would have been completely excused if she was, in essence, a herione with heart and spunk. But, instead, we are presented with a central character who seems to be completely devoid of feeling or care for others, including her best friends. I spent most of the book wondering when Georgia was going to DEVELOP some heart and become an amusing heroine that I could root for, but, after finishing the book, I'm still waiting.

Summary: You won't be able to put it down!
Review: A Review by Kelsey

Have you ever had that feeling where you never want to show your face again? That is how Georgia feels sometimes through out this book. The good thing is, is that she has her best friend, Jas, to help her through this. One day Georgia and Jas got invited to Kate's party. Georgia was excited because she found out that her "Sex God" aka Robbie was going to be there.

I really liked this book. I love the way they described everything. It makes you feel like our in the book with them. One of the funniest parts of the book was when Georgia was freaking out because she didn't know how to kiss. So a boy named Peter offered her how too, which is pretty forward on not knowing each other but Georgia is desperate. It turns out that Peter wanted to do more than just teaching her how to kiss, but Georgia only being 14 didn't want that. She wanted to learn so she could kiss her "Sex God" Robbie.

I personally recommend this book to girls who love to laugh. You'll seriously laugh out loud! I can't wait to read the rest of the series.

Summary: Hilarious!
Review: I love this book!! My friend suggested i read the whole series after she read them and found them hilarious. All the books are quite funny and Angus, Thongs and Full-Frontal Snogging is no exception. I especially adore the vocabulary Georgia uses in her descriptions of each day's occurences. Her nunga nungas, the piddly diddly departmet, it's all so amusing. There is a glossary in the back which is amusing to read even on it's own. I reccomend this book to any girl, probably over say....13, and for older women as well. Not everyone will appreciate the humour, but i certainly did.

Summary: READ THIS BOOK IF YOU DARE
Review: The book ANGUS, THONG AND FULL-FRONTAL SNOGGING was a good book for girls. Yes, boys can read it but the wont get some of the hummer thats in this book. This book was a good book and there were some really good parts in this book that you didn't want to read the little parts. The girl that is writing this book of there life is named Georgia. She is a teenager that goes to a Catholic school in London. She is a teenager not knowing what to do with boys. She has a best friend named Jas that is the same age as her and goes to the same school as her. Jas is going through the same thing with boys as Georgia is. Through out the book Georgia tells you what is going on in her life, not just with boys, but also with friend, school, and family.
So I do recommend this book to you if you like to read peoples diarys.
