Rating: Summary: Snogging good fun, this! Review: The first volume of the confessions of Georgia Nicolson. This book is set up like a diary, but the timing and phrasing makes it read more like a transcript. Pay attention to some of the timestamps.Very few books have caused me to laugh out loud. Only one kept me laughing all the way through. Until now, that is. Absolutely hilarious. Georgia Nicolson is a young (almost fifteen) girl being faced with more than her share life's uncertainties and unfairness. She has an annoying, but funny, three-year-old sister, a cat that is part Scottish wildcat that will eat just about anything, including his lead, a clueless mother, out-of-date parents, and a gang of friends that are sometimes worse than enemies. Georgia must face maturing while trying to have fun, the bottomless mysteries of boys, snogging lessons, crazy teachers and a strict but crazy school. But then one of her friends becomes enamored of Tom, a clerk in a grocer. But Tom has a brother Robbie who, as Georgia puts it, is a Sex God. Georgia is hooked but how can she hook him back? What about the snogging instructor, or the whelk that put his hand...? To find out the answers, you just have to read this book. Hilarious to the end.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding Review: All i can say is it's a great book! If you get the chance read it and all of the other ones as well, you won't be disappointed!!!
Rating: Summary: Hilarious Review: This was one of the funniest books I've read in a long time. Georgia has a wierd sense of humor, and I just loved reading about all the misfortunes in her life! The only thing I have to be critical of is how rude Georgia is to her parents and her friends. In a way, I sometimes think the author must have been writing some sort of parody about teens. Georgia is rude to every single adult she knows, and horrible to her parents. She's even mean to her friends, especially Jas. If Jas has a problem, Georgia says "Shut-up now, Jas" then a second later starts in about her love problems with "The Sex God," expecting Jas to actually care. Other than those parts though, the book is hilarious. I found myself laughing out loud at parts (even when I was on the bus alone, talk about embarassing), and the end was by far the funniest part (although I'm not going to ruin it and tell you why). Anyway, this is a must read for everyone, unless you hate reading about ditzy girls who are rude and only interested in how they look.
Rating: Summary: AMAZING!!! Review: THis is my favorite book ever! After reading about Georgia Nicolson's life in Angus, Thongs and FUll-Frontal Snogging I became addicted to the series and took it upon myself to read the rest of tese books. Now, whenever a new one comes out, I wait anxiously for months and buy it the day it comces out. To date, i think i have read ALL of the books AT LEAST TWICE and always find something new to laugh about. YOu may not want to read these in a public situation because it may cause hysterical laughter on your part. These books perfectly depict the life of a typiacal teenager who does not understand her parents, her siblings, her freinds, or, of course, GUYS!
Rating: Summary: One star only because I can't put zero. Review: "Oh bugger oh merde knickers the Sex God just walked past knickers my parents are hopeless knickers my life is ruined knickers I treat my friends like crap knickers if I don't have a boyfriend my life is unliveable knickers nobody understands me knickers knickers knickers knickers knickers knickers knickers." Didn't think Bridget Jones was funny; don't think this is funny. The same gags over and over, and Georgia is a brat. Not that I expected a rocket surgeon; after all, 14 y/o girls *are* characteristically boy-crazy, vain and silly, but that's *all* there is to this! And Ms. Rennison: I get it already. Underwear is funny (or at least you think it is). You don't have to use the word "knickers" every other paragraph!
Rating: Summary: Funny & Just Lots Of Fun To Read... Review: This is a hilarious book. Georgia Nicolson is an awesome, realistic character. She acts like a lot of fourteen-year-olds (I know because I am one), and although she tends to be a bit superficial, most fourteen-year-old girls I know are self-concious. And at this age, girls think about boys a lot. So there's nothing unusual there. Anyone who reads this book expecting a flawless young heroine who is always sure of herself will be disapointed---because Georgia is one of the most realistic characters I've ever read about, and fourteen-year-old girls are not perfect.
Rating: Summary: Only a Plonker Wouldn't Read this Bangin Book!! Review: wow! i had 2 read this book for school and at first i thought i wouldn't like it cuz the title is a little balmy, but i ended up loving it!! it's so funny and gives an awesome insight into what it is like to be and english teenager. not only did it touch up on thongs that all teens go through (kissing, dating, friends, school, etc) but it also gave it an english taste. it showed what english teens do just to chill with their friends in a really casual, brill way. i would reccommend this book to anyone who likes to read about other teens and their trials and tribulations.

Rating: Summary: WARNING! Mad cat on the loose!!! Review: Imagine that you were a 14 year old girl living in the middle of England with your very odd parents, a mad toddler sister, and a cat who acts like a hungry lion. You are in love with a guy but soon realize that he is going steady with a girl that you and your friends all avoid. Your life couldn't get any worse. But just before you hitch hike to Africa, your live suddenly changes. If that sounded like a crazy life to you, you are totally correct. That is how Georgia Nicolson lived her life a teenager in England in the book Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging By Louise Rennison. In Georgia's diary, she is living a crazy life of avoiding her family's togetherness and trying to get the man of her dreams to notice her. She and her handful of friends encounter many daring and very funny obstacles on the way to growing up. She spends most of her time in her room experimenting on different looks or boring herself at her private all girls' school that she hates. Between all the clothes, make-up, stress, boys, and school she encounters a life changing event that she wanted in the beginning. Georgia tries to get this boy named Robbie to like her. But only one problem... he is 4 years older and he is already taken! But that doesn't stop Georgia. It is either her way or the highway. Can she win Robbie from the mystery girl? So if you enjoy a funny book written with English humor, and that in the middle of class will have you cracking up, Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging is a great book for you.
Rating: Summary: A funny, nice read Review: "Angus, Thongs, and Full-Frontal Snogging" is a funny, light read for all teens. The book's main character, Georgia, is going through many troubles that most teens go through. She's in love with the Sex God (a.k.a. Robbie), she has a little sister Libby who is constantly annoying her, she has a giant cat named Angus who is (nearly)the size of a dog, and she's going through puberty. Not only that, but Georgia's parents are also planning to take her all the way to New Zealand to live there for a while! Of course, now Georgia thinks her life will be ruined. This book took place in England, so there are some English words. Don't worry, there's a glossary in the back explaining each English word! This was a wonderful book. Highly recommended!
