Since you received this for a shower gift, I can see why you were blinded with bliss. Has the real world set in yet? Well when it does, BUY the book, you'll need all the help it provides.
As for the millions of people who live in the real world this book is helpful, practical, and most importantly fun to read. Keep it as a reference when you are finished. QoC provides enjoyable reading and useful information for everyone, in each of her books. GREAT WORK!!

Review: I just received this book as a shower gift and can't imagine anything more depressing than focusing all energies on this kind of thing. My fiance' and I are both professionals. We'll hire the cleaning done and have a LIFE. Who buys these books anyway? I'm giving mine away, if I can only think of someone who would actually want it. I'm sorry to sound so snotty, but this is a 1950s throwback, and I wanted to write a review to warn other people about it.

Review: OK, I admit I'm not the most organized person. Or the neatest. Or the most on time. You get the idea. I read the first book from the Queen, "Talking Dirty with the Queen of Clean" and I loved it. My mom gave me this new book as a stocking stuffer at Christmas. It is loaded with helpful tips on getting organized and scheduling the right time to do important tasks. I really enjoy the Queen's lighthearted style and plain talk. I ordered the laundry book and now have the complete QoC library. Write on, Linda!
