Rating: Summary: Stunning and Shocking! Review: I never expected TLDOMM to be so compelling. And so infuriating. Why a REAL investigation hasn't been done on the death of Marilyn Monroe is something any reader will want to know. I hadn't even considered that her demise was not a suicide or an accidental overdose until I read this book. Could so many cover-ups be perpetrated today in our media-frenzied society? Ask Jon-Benet!
Rating: Summary: Gives a good insite on Marilyn's last days! Review: The book goes in depth on Marilyn's last days. I learned issues I thought never existed. The research, I could tell, by the author was extensive. I would recommend this book for any Marilyn fan!
Rating: Summary: The Best book on Marilyn Monroe I ever read & I have 35+book Review: A wonderful book!! Very very informative, I have 35+ books on MM and this one is THE BEST!!
Rating: Summary: THE WOLFE'S CONSPIRANCY Review: The Wolfe's investigation about the last days of Marilyn Monroe is a rewriting version of the classic book "Goddess" (Anthony Summers). It's very boring and forget many of the importants pages of "Marilyn. The biography" (Donald Spoto). Wolfe follows the line of conspirancy and see the Kennedys like a killers (a fascinating line to the readers who don't know the reality).
Rating: Summary: Very thorough account of Marilyn's private and public life. Review: Mr. Wolfe gives plenty of detailed evidence to convince the reader of the foul play regarding Marilyn's death. I absolutely loathe the Kennedys for taking the most beautiful woman with a heart of gold away from the American people. This is a great book and very hard to put down.
Rating: Summary: Donald Wolfe-Well done Review: After reading "Marilyn-The Last Take" and then this book by Mr Wolfe, all I can say is Thank You for the biggest step towards once and for all dismissing the annoucement of Suicide. I couldn't put this book down. I've been raving about it for days now. Excellent reading supported by witness accounts (Jefferies & Miner) plus pieceing together an intricate puzzle of time's,places and people. Pity the teen baby theory wasn't delved into a bit more though, but overall, Brilliant, Brilliant,Brilliant.
Rating: Summary: Riveting Story!! Review: I've read several books on Miss Monroe's life. This is the first book to provide evidence from several different sources to prove she did not commit suicide, but was murdered. What a sad way to end a sad life.
Rating: Summary: THE KENNEDYS' DID IT Review: Even before I read this I was convinced that Bobby and JFK had something to do with Marilyn's Death. This book just help to bring the rest of the general public or at least, the fans who have read it, closer to the truth. The truth that Marilyn didn't commit suicide. This book really went into a lot of detail to show that it couldn't have been suicide. It went into too much detail also, of things that didn't pertain to marilyn or her death, that was the only thing I didn't like about it. Who cares about arthur miller's problems? I read enough about him in the other most recent Marilyn bio, if you could call it that. This book gave you alot of facts, some that shocked me greatly. The Cal-Neva weekend was gut wrenching to read. I feel that us true fans know that marilyn isn't a suicide victim, but a victim of murder. cold-blooded murder.. I never had much respect for the Kennedys before but after reading this, I find them repulsive. If they didn't want to her know about all those political things going on, and their plans, why did they tell her? What makes me truly ill, is there will never be justice done for marilyn. maybe by me and other fans that believe the same thing. But the Kennedys did a really good job at getting rid of evidence, and covering up so well that there is no way it could ever be proved. I am glad that this book was written, it was well written and it has helped me find some answers about MM's untimely death. thank you, donald wolfe!
Rating: Summary: ultimate investigation of ALL involved Review: Doesn't leave a stone unturned. Even for someone who has and intends to read everything about it, it has revalations that are UNREAL. I'm only 1/2 way through it and it is far more informative (factually) than any other publication on her. Plus, it starts out the the most important part - the mystery and cover-up. Then, it goes on to almost literally tear apart everyone involved. It is so horrible how corrupt the LAPD was at that time and how greedy everyone was to help in this cover up. (hoping to work with the Kennedy's or the FBI) Teasers: 1) she and RFK were arguing in the back garden and it moved to the guest cottage at some point, which is where she actually died, and where she was moved from and replaced in her bedroom and the lies began. 2) The people there when this occurred: Pat Newcomb, RFK, Eunice Murray, her son-in-law (Norman Jeffries) Ralph Greenson. 3) The autopsy report was maimed from 270+ pages to a pitiful 50 pages that was totally redone and completley inaccurate. Is that enough to make you get it? I can't wait to finish it!! I commend Donald Wolfe and everyone who helped him. Like he said - it WILL be solved one day. Signed, Diane Y. Jones
Rating: Summary: Justice for Marilyn: Wolfe's Work is Masterful Review: For those who doubt there was a conspiracy to conceal the real truth behind the death of Marilyn Monroe, read this book and ponder the fate of those who conspired -- President John Kennedy and his brother, Attorney General Bobby Kennedy. This book connects a lot of dots in a revealing manner.
