Summary: Let down in literature
Review: All endings of his short stories are exactly the same. I feel like I'm reading the same story over and over. After you have read one of his stories you have read them all. It is very boring to read his books and I do not enjoy them. All the plots are predictable, which takes the suspense out of the mystery.

Summary: Moor? More!
Review: Although I began reading this book because it was an assignment in school reading, I actually found the book quite interesting. The mystery unravels nicely as well the characters within the book. There wasn't a lot of confusing new characters popping in and out of the story. Mostly everything in the chapters was realivant to the mysterty itself as well. If you have purchased this book then you will surely enjoy reading it. If you have not bought this book and you are looking for a good mystery to read this is a good pick to choose.

Summary: Classic Holmes story
Review: I've read all 60 Sherlock Holmes stories, as well as a few of Doyle's works in "The Final Adventures", and "The Hound of the Baskervilles" is what got me truly interested in them. Wonderful characters, story, and especially setting. The usage of such a dark and grisly place as the moor, tied in with a fanciful if debatable legend surrounding it and the family that makes its residence there, is unprecedented in Holmes and Watson's world. This was the first book by Doyle that I read, and I think that if it had been the last I would have enjoyed it all the same.

Summary: DEMON HOUND OR HOAX?
Review: This is the most famous of the four full length novels written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. This novel deals with the horrifying legend of a demon dog that destroys the lives of members of the Baskerville family.

Sherlock Holmes and Watson go to the Baskerville estate to check into the legend and also to protect their client Henry Baskerville. Watson does more detective work in this novel than the other ones which is a nice twist.

This is a good mystery and is easier to follow than the others written by Mr. Doyle. You should enjoy this engaging classic.

Summary: The Hound of Baskerville
Review: The book is what I would call an intriguing tease. Doyle creates a mood throughout the whole book that keeps the reader sitting on the edge of their seat. I would definitely recommend this book for those readers who like a good mystery.

Summary: Doyle's Magnum Opus?
Review: This is, by far, the most famous and most recognized of the 4 Holmes novels, and maybe the most famous out of all the 60 stories. It is also one of the best. It may be the best of the novels, although I tend to lead toward the Valley of Fear (not that any of them are bad). The book has extreme suspense, it is indeed a page-turner. Also, there are more plot twists in this book than I care to count! The part where Watson goes after the mysterious man on the moor, and finds out... well, I won't spoil it for you. Let's just say it's a classic, as is this book.

Summary: Holmes Fan Created
Review: This is the book that got me interested in reading mystery novels. It's suspenseful, thought provoking, and totally unpredictable. I have yet to find another mystery that really adds up to what Doyle has created in these few pages. I want to read all his novels now, and I can't wait!

Summary: A Surprising read!
Review: When I picked up this book, the last thing was a good read. I could not believe that I couldn't put this book down and couldn't wait to turn to the next page. I believe that this is a book well worth reading. The suspense, the moor, the fog and of course, the Hound are all amazing. Truly a book you don't want to miss!

Summary: HOUND REVIEW
Review: I gave this novel five stars because of several reasons. The first reason would be that it was purely entertaining. Secondly, I was given so many options regarding who was the real criminal. Thirdly, the characters, especially Sir Henry Baskerville and the Stapletons, not only played a crucial role in the plot, but in my 5 star rating. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to you or to read it again myself.

Summary: A *definite* MUST read!
Review: The Hound of the Baskervilles is certainly one of the best books I've ever read. I love Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's style! Everything he mentions is important to the plot. It's *really* kewl! I also love his characters! They are so believable! I just finished reading it yesterday, and I did not want it to end! When I was only half way through, I knew it was going to definitely be one of my favorite books. It's *way* up there. Everyone should read this book. It's just too good to believe! This is, actually, the first mystery I've ever read, and I really enjoyed it, so I think I'm going to read some more of the Sherlock Holmes adventures! A definite must read!
