Review: In Reba McEntire's lastest book, "Comfort from a Country Quilt," a person can truly see that God gives people talents. In Reba McEntire's case, God has given her many talents and she uses them to their upmost ability. This book is for anyone and everyone. Whether you enjoy Reba, uplifting and inspirational stories, or just enjoyment from reading, you will treasure this collection of stories. They are told in a superb way and lets Reba emerge into memories of past and present. To Reba, Congratulations on your masterpiece!

Summary: The Woman Just Keeps Getting Better!!!
Review: Just when you think that Ms. McEntire has done it all, she surprises you by topping herself! This most recent project is ultimately the best thing so far. You really feel she's talking to you when you read this book. It's like a personal little diary full of Reba's own thoughts that she jotted down day to day. I was so moved by the whole thing, second by second the moods changed: from laughter to tears, back to laughter...(even shock a couple of times.) I STRONGLY reccommend this book to EVERYONE!! Written by a very strong woman with an even stronger heart.

Review: Reba has been my all-time favorite singer/actress for as long as I could remember. She has a wonderful way of expressing herself in her writings. Any new release of hers is a must for me! She is my inspiration. We need more country singers like she has been over 20 years now. She has never given up, and always has strived for the best. I loved her first book. Growing up in OK the way she did, makes you appreciate life's greatest offers.

Review: REBA has done it again! The follow up to her 1994 autobiography "Reba: My Story", "Comfort From a Country Quilt" seeks to uplift and enlighten. It succeeds. Simple life lessons, down-home values, love of family, and an undying quest for happiness is what comprises this inspirational collage. A perfect mixture! Proving once again that she has a square head atop her shoulders and under that red hair, REBA's words will both teach and touch - leaving you with a feeling of warmth only a country quilt can provide! Pick this one up!

Summary: Simply Down To Earth and Inspiring!!!!
Review: She has done it again! Reba's talents are non-stop but most of all her energy, her enthusiasm, dedication, and family orientation makes what she does so inspiring. This is shown not only in her music but also in how she is able to write down from memory what her past and present life was/is like. She did a ravishing job "piecing" together the memories of living life through family, friends, and music. Comfort From a Country Quilt is written in a way that speaks to the readers and inspires them. Her use of "country-style" words and phrases in the stories she tells literally makes the book warm, down-to-earth, and original. From the different autobiographies I have read Comfort From a Country Quilt is and always will be the best written because Reba writes in a "free-style" way. Reba skips the big terminology and tells her stories as if you were actually having a "back porch conversation" with her. Not to mention, having the audio version of Comfort From a Country Quilt, where Reba reads her own writing, gives the book that finishing touch. Reba has that voice that brings animation and character to the stories she tells. I recommend this book for everyone to read and get a touch of what life is filled with; you are here inspiring and being inspired through what you encounter through family, friends, and inspirations like Reba.
