Rating: Summary: A Day No Pigs Would Die Review: A Day No Pigs Would Die is a very interesting book. It had some sad parts, but it is very good. The story is about a boy named Robert Newton Peck who lives on a farm with his father, mother, and aunt. In the story Robert receives a pig from his neighbor Mr. Tanner. Robert and his pig are really close. I think that the author did an extrodinary job on this particular book. My favorite part is when Robert takes Pinky to the Rutland Fair. I think the worst part is when Robert and his father weasel Ira Long's dog. The way he uses details makes it more interesting and easier to picture everything. I would recommend this book to anyone, especially if you like to cry and laugh.

Rating: Summary: A Book to Die For! Review: A Day No Would Die is a great book. It's about a 12 year old Shaker boy who lives in Learning, VT. He is faced with many things as he trys to become a man. We found this book so enjoying because it was full of adventures. It was also set in the 1920's in VT, when there wasn't any technology. So we got to see how much different it was then in Vermont then it is now. We both recomend this book to anyone who has any interest at all in it.
Rating: Summary: A Day No Pigs Would Die Review: I think that this book is really good, I liked how the author kept leaving you on the edge and making you want to read more. I will read more Robert Newton Peck novels and books in the future.

Rating: Summary: Awesome Review: I felt that Robert Newton Peck's A Day No Pigs Would Die was a truly awesome book. His point of view was from a 12 year old boy and he made the book sound like it was. He also had every day life challenges in the book, which makes you feel like you are actually with Rob and all of his problems. I give this book 5 stars for being a truly AWESOME novel.
Rating: Summary: A Day No Pigs Would Die Review: I think that A Day No Pigs Would Die by Robert Newton Peck is a really good book, I think that this book really tells what the life of a 1920's farmer is really like. The author includes all of the troubles that might occur while doing chores or running home from school as a little boy or a grown man. This is the first book that I have read by Robert Newtin Peck and I know that I will look for more of his books in the time to come.
Rating: Summary: A Day No Pigs Would Die Review: I think that this book is great for children to read. Some of the book is valid and some isn't. It takes place in Learning, Vermont, so it is kinda neat to relate things from the book to what is real now. (Example) The Rutland Fair, this is something that can be alot different, or the same now.
