Rating: Summary: You won't be able to put this book down!!!!!! Review: This book kept me enthralled for an 8 hour car trip, and the time past was hardly noticed. (I was the passenger, of course!) I hated to stop reading!!! The author does an excellent job of giving you details that help you to visualize a scene in your mind, and feel that you are indeed in the midst of the highly suspenseful story. The story was very, very well-written, and exciting! I will buy every book that Michael Palmer has written so far, and those of the future! I am totally sold!
Rating: Summary: The best book i have ever read. Review: This book was excellent. I was not able to put the book down. I alwas wanted to find out more about Abby and the developing scandal with Colstar and the MRI incidents. This book is hands down the best book I have ever, and probably will ever, read.
Rating: Summary: Could have been better Review: This book wasn't bad, but I was disappointed after reading Extreme Measures. I found this book to be much slower-paced. However, I did like the ending of critical judgment. It was a surprise for me.
Rating: Summary: A great non-stop medical thriller. Review: This has to be one of the best medical thrillers I have read yet. What a wonderful twist to the story at the end of the book. I was unable to figure who the real culprit was until toward the very end. Thanks for a great book.
Rating: Summary: Ending spoils the book Review: This is a well-written page-turner. Yet the characters, once you discover their motivations, are fairly one-dimensional: pretty near everyone is a "goodie" or a "baddie." Not much complexity or soul-searching among the characters. Also, the ending (which I won't reveal), is such a wildly impossible out-of-the-blue deus ex machina invention that it destroys any delusion the reader may have had that the author was writing about realistic events and characters.
Rating: Summary: Outstanding book! Review: This was the first book of Plamers that I read and could absolutely not put it down. Since this book I have read everyone of his books and just loved them all. This book was so suspensful and kept you on your toes! Read it!
Rating: Summary: An irrestible, tension holding novel that is sure to please! Review: Transfuring to a small mountain town to make a new life. Dr. Abby Dolan had been working in San Francisco at a big hospital. Now she is in this little town working in a smaller ER. As she gets the hang of things she suspects something going on. People in the town have come up with these problems she can't explain. She asks herself how and why is this happening? I really enjoyed this book. I hardly ever put it down. And I can't wait to read another one of Micheal Palmer's books.
Rating: Summary: Gets Better And Better Review: When I first started reading this book, I thought it was another 'big bad manufacturing plant putting the health and welfare of the community at risk'. But the plot soon broadened and the action sped up for a most enjoyable read. The premise is frightening and one I hope is unbelievable. But who knows?
