Rating: Summary: The flunking of Joshua T. bates Review: I gave this book a four because it has a title that gives away what the book is about, but otherwise I liked the book. The book is about a kid named Joshua that has to repeat third grade all over again. Joshua is very frustrated because the other kids make fun of him. Later he takes a test to see if he can go to fourth grade.
Rating: Summary: The Review of Joshua T. Bates Review: I rated this book a 3 because I had read it already. It is about a boy who needs to repeat 3rd grade. His name is Josh and he wants to run away to South Africa. But his teacher helps him so he will pass the exam at the end of the year. There is a kid who is a bully to Josh. He also has two sisters. Their names are Amanda and Gorgina.
Rating: Summary: The Flunking of Joshua T. Bates Review: Josh flunked third grade. His teacher helped him recover. I thought this book was really good because it was kind of twisted. First it went from being booming mad to him drinking tea and eating cookies. I think you should read it to find out the rest. || '--'
Rating: Summary: The Flunking of Joshua T. Bates Review: I think it was really good because it was humorous. His family helpd him a lot josh had a lot of friends in his class. In the beginning he got argry at himself. He was held back in third grade and had the army teacher,Mrs.Goodwin. He wanted to go to fouth grade he had a hard time in spelling and math. If you want to know the rest read the book.
Rating: Summary: The Flunking of Joshua T. Bates Review: I gave this book a five because it was very hysterical. It also gave the right amount of information about the characters. The Flunking of Joshua T. Bates is a very humorous book. At the end of the summer, Josh finds out he will have to repeat 3rd grade. Tommy Wilhelmen, a bully, is making it worse by telling the whole 4th grade. Mrs.Goodwin (the tank) is helping Joshua after school. Later he takes a test to go to 4th grade. Will he succeed or stay in the 3rd grade?
Rating: Summary: The Flunking of Joshua T. Bates Review: I rated this book four(4) out of five(5) stars, because I thought it was a pretty good book. It should not have ended the way it did though. Most of the story is in the title - Joshua flunks 3rd grade. His teacher thought it was unfair, so she starts tutoring him, and later he takes a test to see if he can go to 4th grade. Will he make it to 4th grade? Find out by reading the book!
Rating: Summary: The Flunking of Joshua T Bates Review: This story is about a kid named Joshua T Bates. Josh is very smart but has some problems in reading and writing. Because of these problems, he was held back a grade. Tommy Wilham (Josh's worst enemy) starts to make fun of him and Joshua gives him a smack in the stomach to think about it. Josh is suprised to find a note on his report card saying he is taking a test that can promote him to fourth grade. I think this is an especially good for people who have trouble in reading and writing.
Rating: Summary: The Flunking Of Joshua T. Bates Review: This is my opinion on the book "The Flunking Of Joshua T. Bates". I say this is a good book to not get frustrated over anything in life, even school. Josh gets held back in the 3rd grade while all of his friends leave him to go to the 4th grade. Josh goes over to his teacher's house for tutoring. Josh thinks that the teacher will be a nightmare to his life. To find out what happens read this book to find out how Mrs. Goodwin will change Josh's life.
Rating: Summary: The Flunking of Josh T. Bates Review: I would give Josh T. Bates (the flunking) a four because it wasn't that suspenseful. Like it wasn't cliffhanging. But I would still recommend it. The exciting part of it was when he takes a test to pass the 3 grade. But you need to find that out for yourself! But it is a little unhappy in some parts. Also when Josh has to repeat 3 grade. But I'm just saying I've read better. And like I said, I would give it a four star.
Rating: Summary: The Flunking of Joshua T. Bates Review: This my opinion on the book "The Flunking Josh T. Bates". I rate this book a four because it was different and interesting. It was a pretty okay book. It took place mostiy at school and at Mrs.Goodwin's house, a teacher. Josh did not do well during the year he was in the third grade. He was not very excited about school. You will find out why. Also there is a bully in school that is not so friendly. I hope you enjoy this book as much I did.
